  1. Zulu stayed until dug too, couple of shallow spots but also 4ft, 6ft etc. He works his quarry hard, and I would make kennel space for him.
  2. I have worked Zulu and he is very hard........
  3. I 100% agree with these comments...........
  4. Use Ivomec as this will clear mange. You can get hold of it at any farm supplies or off the internet for about £35 for 200ml, for a terrier only use 0.8ml infection once a week for 3 weeks and you should see an improvement.
  5. I have dug to both Zulu and Copper, both dogs are still in Brian's yard. Zulu is a hard dog, Copper a mixer.
  6. Innotek sell one for £39 at www.invisibledogfence.co.uk, I have a number of them and they really work. It doesn't take long for the dog to realise they need to be quiet.
  7. wash the eye first, then use dry cow. . . . this stuff is awesome and if you know a dairy farmer he's give you a tube I am sure.
  8. It never stops amazing me when a guy asks a question (like the one that started this topic) the amount of bullshit comments people make, like Sooty92 stated some dogs in any line fail, BUT I only have pure Nuttall blood and am also very happy with the results and also I know quite a few lads that have pure Nuttall blood who are also happy. Some nice looking dogs been posted.
  9. Look at my avatar, pure Nuttall that never failed. Also have a bitch which myself and the legend (Brain Nuttall) dug 27ft too...................................
  10. started hunting 3wks thias saturday, hounds going well and had a couple in the ground.

  11. There's alot of good comments on this thread and there's alot of BULLSHIT comments, I guess we'll never really know the answers to all the questions asked which relate to Brain Nuttall and his strain of terriers. However I have a kennel full of only Nuttall terriers, and have known Brian for some 15 years BUT more importantly for the past 5 seasons Brian has joined me as hunt terrierman. He still helps on the shovel, he may not be the fastest but what do you want at 78yrs of age, but he has a wealth of knowledge. I have my own personal views on Brain's breading and the so called new strain, bu
  12. barryvox pulse is by far the best at the moment but used with the B&F collar
  13. why would u be telling any one to fook off thats the mans bread and butter now the more pups he sells the better its his living Any man thats working his dogs properly wudnt let u into his yard, thats why brian doesnt mind cos anything in it hasnt been worked for generations.. Nuttalls done his bit for the game many years ago, he's now doin the opposite and milking it.. ..... Pa I totally disagree, I only have pure Nuttall blood in my kennel's and can honestly say as a hunt terrierman I have dug to Brian's dogs most weeks through the season. Oh and the dog in my profile picture is a p
  14. R.I.P Ray, you were a true terrierman and a gentleman. We the digging lads will miss you.
  15. Fair Game, this is the problem with this site "People hind behind words & user names". I have personally known Brian Nuttall for many years and I have to say he is a true gentleman and at the age of 76yrs has probably forgotten more about terrier work than most of us will ever know. I am very privileged to be able to say that each week during the hunting season I am joined by Brian as I go about my hunt terrier work, and the only dogs I have in my kennel are 100% Nuttall blood. Oh and lets be honest, I hope at 76 yrs old I still have good health and am able to hunt my terriers an
  16. i never seen a good one of them....and by reading some of ye'r posts ye wouldn't know a good dog if it bite ye......... I only have Nuttall blood in my kennels, I work every week as the terrierman during the season for the local hunt and Brian himself joins me. The below picture is my 3yr old dog, a very game dog.
  17. Lads, I would be interested to see the photo's of the 28ft dig in Sandbach which needed the JCB as this sounds like my dig. It was a 2 hole place on a small bank, the hounds ran charlie in and we entered a terrier expecting a quick bolt. How rong could I have been, we eventually got a mark and thought OH MY GOD, luckily of of the masters from the hunt has JCB's and was only to willing to assist. Just over 12hrs later the JCB was at full reach and we had to finish the last couple of feet with the shovel, we broke through and there was charlie on a ledge and the bitch was just waiting makin
  18. Pip, Not sure exactly what you are trying to get at, my dogs are owned by myself but bread by Brian. Out of all the digging which we do together i would say the split is 50 / 50 with regards to who's dogs work. Obviously I have dug numerous times to Brian's dogs anything from 15mins and 18 inches to 12 hrs and 27 feet, YES 27 feet and we needed a JCB to dig the first 25 ft. Pictures attached. a deep one bud did it all end well. Oh Yes. . . . . .
  19. Moby, One dog originally but as we got through the clay and reach sand we managed to break through we aloud a pup to take a look, they all have to learn somehow. The JCB was at ful reach at 25ft and we had to dig the last couple by hand, thankfully that was in sand.
  20. The Bellman & Flint, thankfully we had it as I don't know off anything else that would have been able to go that deep. Looks like a old grey box on the side of the dig Correct, we had just entered a pup and only had the old Deban collar & box left as we only had one B&F collar at the time. Do you really think we could have dug that deep with a Deban box ? I don't think so. . . . . . . .
  21. The Bellman & Flint, thankfully we had it as I don't know off anything else that would have been able to go that deep.

  23. Top Terrierman, I am a Hunt terrierman with only has pure Nuttall terriers directly from Brian, who at 75yrs still comes out with me every saturday. We dug 2 yesterday, not a bad day. PM me if you still need his details. HELLOMATE ,CAN YOU TELLME HOW MANY OF YOUR DOGS YOU DIG WHEN OUT WITH THE HUNT.CAN YOU TELLME HOW MANY OF BRIANS STUD OR BREEDING BITCHES YOU DIG,TRUTHFULLY Pip, We dug 2 on saturday and 3 on Monday (not with the hunt) so out of the 5 digs 2 were with my dogs and 3 with Brian's. So as you can see Brian's dogs do work. The picture of the chocolate dog attached to m
