    Neither do i when i know the long range weatherman could well be wrong.. I can't believe you've actually put into words that you need to see a dog work for a whole season to know it's shite. Some of you veterans treat us young lads like the dog game is rocket science and we shouldn't even be slipping a dog until we've spent 10 seasons watching and learning. Let alone have an opinion on a dog. Have them told gas, lol. Them old feckers are to stuck in their old ways.......

    Going a little of track, but I would rather see 10 good runs than a dog pick 30 up out the seat (lamping rabbits), numbers in some places are going to be easier than others and also at different times of the year.... so I don't think it counts for shit.... But a dog that tries its best every time would keep me happy, and I think the better the man behind the dog the better results it will have...

    Some good posts lads. What's an average dog? Can you put it into words? Maybe not? A good mate of mine has three lurchers, two I would call average, they kill enough to keep most happy, this isn't knocking a dog, but some would take offence to it. But the other is in a league of his own when it comes down to lamping rabbits, big or small..... Now I love to watch the goodun, but I am just as happy to watch the other two because they both always give 100%.... Some of the best runs I have ever seen was from one of the two......And you wouldn't believe how the dog was bred.....

    Anyone bigging up a dog which is shite is only kidding themselves, and anyone who believes them without seeing said dog work is more a fool........ Every dog has its faults and every man has their standards....... No way of measuring world beater'ness...... So all you can do is either be happy with your dog or not..... But there are some very very good dogs out there, which are worthy of being bummed up, but I think its 1000 times better to let the dog do the talking...

    If the price for lurcher pups went up every f**ker would be breeding them to earn a few quid. Better off giving them away to trusted lads. If there was no money involved the vast majority of people wouldn't bother breeding...Then theoretically only the best would be bred from, to be worth the hassle...

    I don't see how they could prove guilt beyond all reasonable doubt, so guilty or not I think he will walk. It would be much much worse to convict an innocent man, than let a guilty man walk free...

    The feo came round to me when I got arrested last year and was sound, and my fac interview he was full of advice ect, couldn't fault him. But other local lads that have dealt with him say hes a prick. Maybe he has bad days.... Ill get my pal to read through what you lot have said and tell him to phone basc. Cheers

    I said to him I doubt if I got 3 points on my driving licence, that they would revoke my ticket, so it would be unfair not to grant him his for the same 3 points....

    All right people. A good friend of mine was granted his sgc about 6 months ago and went for his fac recently as well. His sgc went really well got on great with the firearms officer. He had 3 police cautions 10/15 years ago for kids stuff, so had a letter with his certificate basically saying stay out of trouble. But his fac interview didn't go so well, he got 3 points on his driving licence for a minor driving offence recently after being granted his sgc. He got a full on, half hour bollocking and he said to be honest the fao was quite rude, a totally different man from the previo
