  1. Could be owt under them fleeces jigsaw so dont get your hopes up, they could be thin as a rake, have every parasite known to man and if the fleeces are as bad as you say it wont be long before flys are about and then they'll likely get maggots they could have abcesses or considering that wounds wont have been treated maybe even gangrene. Domestic sheep are very delicate.

  4. I have a solution to your problem... Its called a slow cooker. Agree - I love mine - but how many people these days will think ahead enough to use one - in todays "now" society, they want a healthy, cheap, tasty, hassle free meal on the plate 15 mins after they feel hungryIf im starving i have a bowl of soup and then cook... I often cook up batches of soup, chilli, bolognaise, stews etc and freeze them... I have relied on hubby to bake bread but hes lost interest so i going to learn to bake bread nowBread makers are the way forward for that! Thats the lazy way of doing things, i like to do thi

  7. There are a handful of people in ireland who have them... Try fowl.ie or irishfowl meeting house on facebook
  8. For a good meat breed that lays relatively well you want castlefarms welsh blacks... Take a read of his website.
  9. Im looking for a pewter dog whistle like these ones, used to have one until it was stolen show me what youve got and how much you want for it and hopefully we might be able to do a deal
  10. Its easier than gas or oil for me and if it doesnt suit a caravan then i'll install it into the living room fireplace and then look into the oil burning yoke
  11. I buy my meat from butcher, veg from man up the road and seafood fresh from the fish stall in town, eggs from our own hens or from the veg man, rest of stuff we get in lidl
  12. already know about all that stuff my house is heated solely by a solid fuel stanley range so i could in theory die anytime from carbon monoxide poisoning anytime, caravans are always freezing in the morning so thats not really news and dont worry about us installing it, its not that complicated.
  13. my original plan was to get one of these and their cheaper than the yukon although im worried it will be a bit heavier Do ya think id be able to boil a kettle or have a bit of a fry up on top of this?
  14. Can you cook on these? what d fuk you on about, you cant cook, just get thermal underwear you'll be fine i will have you know im a very decent cook, ask my former head chef... Hes on my fb!
  15. Im guessing they run on oil, id prefer something that runs on wood/turf as thats free most of the time... Will try the yukon and if i dont like it i can always find another job for it
  16. just for weekends away gem just stick with the gas ......once you`ve got it warm its fine unless your static woodburners are a pain everything stinks of smoke -- tried both and for me gas is much better ... as for getting away you cant beat it i feck off sea fishing and spend a few nights in the van -- helps clear the mind .. Could be longer than that as i intend to travel a bit maybe across europe as well and gas fires dont keep ye that warm especially during the colder months
  17. Eeeeeeeewwwww is that you in the pic paulus?
  18. Ive been thinking of picking up an old caravan for weekends away etc and so that if i get pissesd off i can just f**k off onto the open road... What im wondering is can you sufficiently heat a caravan using a yukon stove? Is it as heavy as a potbelly stove? Can you use if for all your cooking if necessary as i hate using gas so will most likely rip out the gas cooker and gas heating. also... Would it be possible to rig it to provide hot water to the caravan?
  19. I should be able to recieve messages... Ive deleted a bucket load!
  20. i dont think im kennel blind... Im undecided if what i have in my kennel is a potentially great dog or a white elephant. Kennel envy i do admit to suffering from especially with certain dogs on this forum...
