    It all depends on the person who keeps the dogs. I class them all as fells, in the same litters of evan close bred lines you will get smooths and coated dogs. Going to shows and you will see dogs from the same owner, same litter or line in differant clsses. Does it realy matter, what someone calls them ?

    Unfortunatly the mjority of KC terrier breeds are TOO BLOODY BIG. Cairns, Westies, Skye, Scottish, Welsh, Lakelands, all the Irish terriers, alot of Jagds. You can't span them, they would need a shovel to dig themselves in. The ones that are still of the right size have had the work bred Out of them, Most Not all Borders. I'm not talking about the obnoxious aggresive ones that just want to fight each other, (well they do as long as they are on their leads) I'm talking about work, not 5 mins to ground twice a year.     I take the ferrets down to the local scout hut and give them a talk about rabbitng, taking a few nets and some rabbit stew if they want to try it, I've taken one or two out rabbiting but all want of them to go out ratting.     Two of my mates have Plumbers. I've dug to one of their dogs , not world beaters but they seem to suit them. Saying this they are not the little type of plumber that you see pics of. I have no pics that were taken while I was out with them tho. Not defending Plumber or his dogs , the last time I spoke to the man we were not on the best of terms. I only have blacks in my kennels as they do what I ask of them, I personally wouldn't have a plumber.
