    That's bollocks really...I tried to join years ago and was told my 'area' didn't have a rep. I don't know who told you that mate , Ive got members who live miles from me as there is "No Area " where they live. If one of them has a dog stuck I'll be there and I think I speak for all the reps and members of our fine club when I say that.

    The night was a great sucsess with approximatly 35 + people turning up , we raffled a cut crystal set of whiskey tumblers and a bottle of single malt Scotch whiskey. The auction had a number of limited edition prints. Books by Mr Darcy and Whitehead. Nets. Leggings. Tee shirts. Batteries (locator).Spirits and more. Thankyou all who supported us in any way There was still some food left at the end so It must have been a good one . We raised just under £400 to be split between the club and Rainbows Childrens Hospice. Thanks again Mick :friends:

    Prick ears or not Mik thats a wonderful looking beast of a dog,whats the breeding ? Prick ears can be dropped at an early age using chiropidy felt on the ends to weigh them down, if a vet does it, it will cost you a lot of money for nothing other than a few bits of silk lol

    I have no doubt that working any dog to Boar can be hard on the dogs,from what I have heard and seen the lads in belgium holland use their dogs to push the pigs to the guns,last year my friend lost 4 dogs to Boar, one was eaten !! the others died throuh injuries . the thing is in this Country, we don't use artificials for tests like you do. The test of a Dog is in the ground. Any dog would go into an artificial to investigate and maybe bay at an animal in there IMO. the same dog would not necessarily go to ground and work as we the British lads would want.     I find it REALLY SAD that people are so egotistical or is that shallow that they feel the need to have their own breed of dog registered.     My Red Lakey bitch was killed today by my Black bitch. the first I know of it was coming home and the neighboughs telling me the Hens were screaming,this morning.
