dannyboi dont tell me im cryin, its called discussion,5 euro is takin the piss when the prizes are much the same as any other show.where is all this talk about less shows every year coming from as there is far more shows now than 6 years ago,why are you defending shanes and birr when youre the ones who got barred a few years back over a dispute on winning with mawtlc.and before you slate me i was there and you were robbed thats if you are BH,if youre not then dont worry about it. so you race and show youre dogs great and fair play, with out the show people there wouldnt be shows so good enough,b

trophies and rosettes still dont justify a fiver per class imo,at ballinlough last year the lads brought the prizes with them and they didnt charge it,i seen them unwrapping trophies before the show is how i know.dukie the antrim club wont answer you so i wouldnt bother.good luck

Kegs. The club have set it at €5 and made the concession of effectively free racing on Saturday and I have matched this with the two day offer. I am afraid thats it for 2011. Albertj thanks for the answer albert im not out hunting you or anything, some of the suggestions are a bit mad on here like but what do ya do,though would it not of made more sense for you and everyone to keep the two days seperate as youd of done better and took less flak ie saturday 3 euro per dog to race half to be split as prize half to the organizer, sunday 3 euro per dog per class usual prizes, every

Dukie, That is the decision of those show organisers but what we have CONCENTRATED ON and will continue to do so is to give the terrier & lurchers their proper place amongst the other competitions with now equivalent or better competition prize structure while at the same time offering them a two shows for the price of one concession for Ballywalter and Shanes Castle. £10 for two events - can anyone tell me what game or country fairs offer terrier & lurcher owners ACTUALLY ENTERING the Fairs better admission rates? For Shanes and Birr we also offer Terrier & Lurcher owne

albert fella first well done on your events as its hard work.not to join the witch hunt as i march my own road but will you answer about the ring price.myself and deemac01 went round a few last season and i have to say there were far better prizes at some of the smaller events. i see that mourne show is a qualifier for your racing, that was a great day though along run for us but that lad had some lot of big trophies for winning and it was £4.00 a car and 2.oo a class and i was lookin back there he made near a grand for charity, tullylish was a great day also and not to dear so if that club th

lislea vixen can you tell me which hunt kennels your dogs are at and do you personally work your dogs as thats the purpose of the post.fair dues till huntress looks like they get out there but she isnt japattin also that dog in finland didnt have to work for the cacib certificates as he was intitled to enter the show as he held a championship from a foreign country

kegs replied to milliken's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
have you ever owned a whippet or 2? you talk a lot of crap, that is why i ask? seen whippets work that is working whippets not a kc wanker that was breed for the ring there is a difference so what you ASKING think you dont know much about whippets there fella with that statement. :blink:ive a kc whippet here thatll piss on a fair few lurchers in the field.kc dosnt matter its how you school a dog papers dont make it unable to work.
