an interesting topic alright, fancy one getting on of these when the old dogs dead and gone as a replacement house dog, still struggle to view them as workers, mostly cause all ive seen of them is the KC stuff.

i was offered a saluki bull grey bitch few weeks back, (didnt take her due to lack of room) what would folk on here do if you were considering buying a adult lurcher this time of year? ? ? obviously you'd want to see her run before purchase, would you look for a strong buck hare to try her out on? (just talking 1 or 2 runs here) after all its a long time to be feeding a dog without knowing if it will work or not come september.

Do you snore? turned out the reason I felt like that for years was sleep apnea. Stopped smoking and lost some weight and it got better. They also have pills and machines if its not weight related. had a few pints last few evenings, apparently i snore when ive been drinking, maybe thats it, could barely motivate myself last 2-3days, just wanted to crawl back into bed

for the last few days i have been constantly exhausted, i have no idea why, anyone know any illnesses with that symptom, im fit, healthy, i do drink but dont smoke. im starting to wonder if my OH is drugging me im that tired

sound, i have a sibling to him myself, im looking for a bitch pup out of riddick later on in the year if theres one? i heard hes at stud since he was retired from digging. just want to keep the lines tight since riddicks dam is now RIP, if not i'll wait and get another pup off riddicks breeder -

Ive seen little russell typs destroy foxs to ground and also seen big bruisers of pats stand of their fox,they all work in different ways,best ive ever seen was a little lakey bitch that was to ground on badger pre ban for 3 days she was a demon on fox after that,lost all interest in billy,she could be tried anywhere.Can i hijack this thread now and ask,IS A FOX A REAL TEST FOR A WORKING TERRIER. heard mention of dogs (in france) that would be bred for digging badger (legally, abroad)who have been known to be beat on rare occasions by seasoned foxes, havent yet heard mention of a fox do

i'll be digging whenever i can until lambings seasons over. hard country round here and lambs are easy pickings. not something i take any joy in but has to be done

not really that up on the terminology but from what you said there i think i have a reckless hard young dog and a mixing hard old bitch??? the young dog boxes his quarry, doesnt let up, has no reverse, is mute but still young so theres time for him to learn,has to be dug to everytime if his quarry is still live that is. the bitch's style is a bit different, she boxes if she needs to but gives voice frequently, doesnt let her quarry past her and often dispatches her quarry no fuss, doesnt have to be dug to unless shes in bother as she can be called out if this makes any sense at all
