    On your property they do not become 'yours' unless they are enclosed or dead! On your property you have the right to take them by legal means, but thats it. Wild is wild, no man can possibly 'own' a wild animal unless it's either enclosed or dead....Thats my take on it.....Anyone? Ok then........if that was the way of thinking if the farm next door to me in the middle of the night 1 of the gates opened and all his sheep wandered onto my field surely i could close the gate and now they belong too me, right?.....     Correct mate....... It's legalised stealing drawing pheasants onto your own land. Why don't the c**ts that do that put there hand in there pocket and put a few birds down, put the graft in at poult stage and can hold there head high knowing there are doing there bit. You'll find out you will get along with the keeper alot better if you did!!!!! theres farm just off my mates place does that all the time and has a organised day right in front of his face every boxing day there hasnt been alot in the last few years as someone keeps walkin the wood through the night before

    tbh honest artic it depends where they are if its a shoot etc what does stalking you should leave them be as someone is putting work into them if its private farm land shoot away till your hearts content

    think some are missing the point if poachers realised what work went into pheasants/partridge maybe theyd think twice they think you get the birds an just turn them out they think nothing of the feeding an catching up of birds etc an we all know how easy it is to plug roosting pheasants at night all that work for nothing usualy someone poaching odd rabbit wouldnt get a raise out of me but if some folk put a bit of thought into the time of year they wouldnt have such a stern word said to them by the keeper/keepers one example just turned out partridge an theres a fat useless cnut driving
