This is what happened to my bitch when she took a pack of Anadin out of my tool box. It nearly killed her. To make matters worse she just had an op the day before. I'm bloody sick and gutted that it happened to her. Never thought about them. You just can't be to careful. Hopefully she will make a full recovery. I'd be lost without her as she come everywhere with me. Great little worker but a pure pet and joy to own and have around. So just a warning to thoes who don't know about aspirin. It's a killer for dogs. This happened just after one tab. atb j

I used to work for a farmer you had up to nearly 3000 sheep. His yards were spotless. I mean they were like newly bulit and never used. Worked for another one and his yard was the most disgusting place i ever saw. I told him one day he should tidy up the place. He said stock dont mind it so why should I. Just shows the difference between some of them. Atb j

It's the same over here as well. We drove down the country yesterday to collect a pup. We past some farms and farm yards. The amount of trash and rubbish throw around them was unbelievable. Atb j

I planted gooseberry and raspberry bushes in fish boxes on Friday. It's handy that way cause I can move them about depending on the weather. Atb j

Was in the local lidls yesterday and seen fruit trees for sale. 3 for 20 euro. I bought 3 just to try out this year. Has anyone bought trees there and were they any good. If they are good I will buy more before they are gone. Atb j

What type of bow do you use danielg. Was looking into buying a Barnett vortex compound bow. (Spelling). Just for targets . Look like a good bow and the reviews are good on them. Atb j

Just yesterday evening the amount of wild goats that came up to the back of my house was unreal. If I could use a bow I'm sure I could have taken two for the freezer. That's the thing here. I wouldnt have to travel for hunting at all. It's frustrating to say the least. Atb j

in all honesty, could the law be over turned on bow hunting in the british isles. if enough people protested, or would it be just like the hunting ban. atb j

nothing here around me but hares, red deer, foxes and badgers. even the rabbits died off. just big planttations with nothing in them. some wild boar would make a nice change. also them muntjac and cwd look nice as well.

my mate was telling that there is some great hunting over there. and very cheap as well. just a couple of euros for a stake meal, and beers.

chatting to a friend today from slovakia, and he was telling me that boar over there come into the villages and wreck the place. they can be very dangerous. the villagers shoot them and harvest the meat. atb j
