  1. No probs, quite clearly some dont do this. I am trying to rack my brains though of an easy way of doing it without rotating the needle, as I do that with the loomis and the convential style of needle. Hope somebody is of help anyway.
  2. Great pics. I have tried in the past and never got any as good as those
  3. Politicians arent bloody interested in the countryside normally, but then again, I dont think this is to do with the government, I think it is the olympic commitee. Yea be a right laugh to see a few hunting animals down there.
  4. THAT'S IT THEN THAT'S WE'RE THE RABBITS ARE THE HAVE STOLE THE RABBITS TO TAKE TO LONDON CROFTY YOUR RABBITS ARE DOWN IN THAT DOWN THERE LONDON TOWN !!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Bob. As you load the needle turn it half a turn each complete cycle. It's almost as if you keep the needle turning.
  6. I might be wrong, but I am sure I have heard that no country hosting the Olympics ever makes a profit. f**k don't tell me, that will send me over the edge lol Surely the hotels and private tents are gonna coin it in. London will certainly make cash. Premier Inn in city centre 800 notes a night for main events I heard on radio the other day! It's all private business that will benefit though!

  8. Just seen the news and can't believe what I have heard. Danny Doyle who is organising the opening ceremony for the OG, has 27 million to spend on it! I don't know about you, but I think that is a waist of good money. In theory I support the games, but let's spend the money on better training facilities, or some good causes. In this time of austerity, there must be better ways of spending the dosh!
  9. Marloes Sands here in Pembrokeshire. Thanks
  10. Lol. No it definatly wasnt the terrier he just picked it up as he was buggering about. You sure mate....still warm blood stained?.....i think you dog may have just stumbled across it and grabbed it.......if not then im lost but the circumstances seem to point to the dog...being a hunting dog Yes Steve, not the dog. We were walking around the edge of a field of fodder barley, that is only 15cm tall, and around the edges it has been eaten lower by hares and rabbits. The dog was just running about, stopped, sniffed it for a second then picked it up. It was about a couple of metres in f
  11. lol. lets start another big cat thread!
  12. We do get mink in the river, but this is quite a bit higher up on the moor edge. Having said that they have been seen in the fishing pond which is only 4-500 metres away.
  13. Aye, he's 20 weeks, and he doesnt mess about with dead rabbits, moles and even a young fox cub we found, but he hasnt got that urge to hunt yet because of his age, his eyes are on the ground all the time but he's not noticing rabbits 20 yards infront of him. Still, its early doors yet. Thats a nice looking dog in your avatar!
  14. I am not as clever as I want to be but I have not given any relevant details on the case I think you are referring to other than there is an investigation into XXX XXXXXXXXX. The facts in the thread are simple and as I said the thread is put out in the public domain for a greater reason than the peoples on the Forum. I could go on for months about my case but that is not what the thread is about. Dont get me wrong pal, if you have been wronged, then good luck to you and your mission, but as you can see there are quite alot of people that dont agree with the way you are going about it. T
  15. Thanks fellers. I thought the same about a hawk maybe, surely it would have killed it and taken it away.

  17. Now there are plenty of pigeons and young rabbits about on the moor edge and small woods around us, I want to ditch the barnett black widow that I occassionally pull out of the bag, and have a shot at making a decent catty, with some decent power. Not like the ones I used to make with 1/4 square black elastic, that were ok and made the occassional kills, but soon lost their elasticity. Having done a limited amount of research, I am led to believe that "theraband" is the stuff to go for? If this is correct, where is the best place to buy it, does it come in different strengths/thickness
  18. While walking out this morning around the dry stone walls, my patterdale pup proudly brought me a dead weasel! Over the next 2-3 minutes he had great fun playing with it, chucking up in the air and generally not coming anywhere near me Anyway, when I examined it, it was still warm, and on the left side of its throat was a patch of fresh blood. It doesnt show up that well in the photo as I have only just photographed it so it has lost the scarlet colour. Now. I am guessing that it is probably another weasel that has killed it because of the blood on its throat, but it could be a bi
  19. The problem probably is............you are not quite as clever as you make out. Because there is a criminal investigation going on.............you are not allowed to talk about it! Soooooo.......why start the thread
  20. If you have supplied the evidence, and you say Hexham police are dealing with a criminal investigation to do with that evidence, then surely you need to let it run its course. I fail to see what peoples views on THL forum, have got to do with your case, whether it be eggs, peregrine chicks, or whatever else it might be. Getting peoples views on here will make no odds to your case. You appear to have one massive chip on your shoulder. Get over it. I got caught speeding two days on the run, and although I was pissed off, and came out with things like haven't they got anything better to
  21. Derek, what are you after with this thread.... http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/user/derek_canning_llb_hons
