spaniel ,train up on the recall or it hunt on for miles yeh he was perfect on recall till the other day when he managed to grab a mixie in the cover, now hes really on fire and i can see hes goin a little deaf when im callin him in but i will sort this soon enough i think.

ive heard it said by a few that a spaniel is hard to beat but reason i ask is, that the terriers ive seen and used ,i cant really see any room for improvement but then ive never seen an adult springer bush for rabbits . i decided to get a spaniel pup a couple of weeks ago for the simple reason that my back is f****d and having to dig to a terrier thats gone to ground isnt an option. truth be told i havnt seen a terrier pup as comfortable in heavy cover at 3 and 1/2 months as this springer is, considering he only ventured outside the back garden of the breeder when i toolk him home two weeks a

just thought ide bump this one and put the question out..if theres anyone that has experience of using both pure springers and bushing terriers to bush for the lurchers, how do you rate a springer against a good bushing terrier, pros and cons of one over other would be good to hear tnx

this young dogs breeding is colliexwhippetxhound over bullxhound. dam is 5/8hound , 3/8 bull going back to t.lees "shadow" . rom. the collie came through the most in the head department from what i can tell so far tho. around the 5 month mark in pic

nice 1 lads . will be sorry to see the back of him to tell ye the truth. that young dog is some of the best company ive kept. the f****r explodes if somethings goin on in front of him but a real character when just out and about in the field

15 months old dog, bred to work, reared very well on the best of feeding / wormed regulary., have 5 gen ped. untried due to age. very confident, very keen and a real powerfull dog. very well made and is picture of health. basically all the hard work is done and will be ready for next season. there is pics on page 18 of "future workers" topic when dog was 12 months. genuine reason for having to sell pm if interested please no pms for the sake of a chat. 300 euro

sire is colliehound x bullhound and dam is salukixhound. just got a pup of this breeding. any one have experience with this type of cross , good or bad. or even pics. would this cross be likely to make a good allrounder ?

couple more of pup from yesterday. around 12 and half months now. gave him hair cut the other day didnt expect the wheather to change like it did tho
