  2. been out for a dig today, it was sucessfull but towards the end of the dig my dog took some punishment, hes got several puncture wounds on his face, ive cleaned them out with a syringe and salt water the best i can and wound powdered them, would it be best to cut all the hair around the holes? so it doesnt get stuck in the wound? ive not washed him just cleaned the wounds out cheers ben
  3. ive just got a patt pup and its gone horribly wrong, its seperate kennels now
  4. its a real pain because hes a lovely dog and wont be doing much ground work, hes my mrs dog, im very limited on kenel space at the min, proably best getting a bitch, it would of been nice to kennel them together, the pups in the house at the min so it'll be ok untill hes house trained..... My original dogs such a placid lovely dog and a good dog to ground
  5. it wasnt a poo,poo but definatly something came out, there was proably nothing left in his bowels!!!! im going to get a muzzel but i cant have 2 dogs that dislike each other, its just a pain in the ass!! hes great with bitches, it just seams dogs he has a problem with, he isnt bothered about size either, 'he tried' to show a 28'' bullcross whos boss a few months ago which ended up in a boot and my dog being tied up out the way!
  6. any ideas on what to do with them? my 15 month old kicks off at him at the slightest thing, they just had a fight (one sided!) and the pup poo'd its self and i cant have them fighting like that all the time

  10. my dogs a pet/worker, yes he gets board some times but so do humans, he gets walked on the push bike every day, and i go for a mooch at least once a week, as i type this hes curled up on the sofa fast asleep, i can tell you now if i snook out side and he heard the spades clinking he would be whining and jumping up my leg, i think its important for a working dog to have that 'switch'

  12. grebe and lapwings ever where around here, my dad used to collect there eggs when he was a nipper tbh i wish he had the collection still, everything from a wren to a kingfisher and a bullfinch to a buzard
  13. i challenge you to find hares around portsmouth, a keeper friend wants me to catch a load so he can release them!!
