    no bashing going on here I shoot and work running dogs and enjoy both. like tjones says a lot of shoots don't use the birds just put them in a hole. coursing is illegal now so a lot of lads put them in the ditch cos they have no choice even lads with permission to flush and shoot cant take them home its not right but its the law but pheasant shootings not banned so why throw good meat away

    assuming its legal to hunt them in Croatia? you cant really train them to do it all you can do is let them see the prey close up let them chase it and through practise they figure it out by themselves some dogs are better at it than others. id carry a knife incase yours turns out to be the latter
