    WOS OUT AGAIN SUNDAY MORNING GOT A CALL FROM A FRIEND TO MEET UP WITH THE KEEPER AT 8AM HE HAD SEEN OLD CHARLIE BOY AROUND HIS BIRD PENS A FEW TIMES, HE HAD TRIED TO RIFLE HIM BUT NO SUCCESS. ANY WAY HE TOOK US TO THE EARTH PADDED UP TO HELL FEATHERS BITS A BIRDS LAYING IN THE SNOW (NOT A HAPPY KEEPER) TODAY WAS NIPPERS TURN, NETS ON COLLAR ON LIFTED A NET DOG IN FAST AS HE COULD, HES ALWAYS FAST TO EARTH, IT TOOK ABOUT 20MINS FOR HIM TO FIND THIS FELLA DIDNOT WANT TO BOLT. 1.8 ON THE BOX RIGHT UP AGAINST A TREE THE DIGGING WAS FAIRLY EASY THE ROOTS SLOWED US DOWN A BIT BUT BROKE THROUGH ABO

    i you cant afford a b+f get yourself the old deben mk1 16ft terrier locator, theres plenty on here ( for sale section or swap ) i used them for yrs accurate and fairly realiable, put plenty tape on the barreles to keep the water out, i have a b+f, but still use the mk1 in earths i now. dont no why thay stoped makeing then, good look.

    has anyone got any advice. i work russells, last year one of them suffered from realy bad split feet pads in the in the winter, i kept his pen extra clean, as the pea n stuff was my my mane concern. but every time i worked him thay split n he was lame most of the winter. just wondering if theres anything i could use to harden his feet before this winter starts.
