  5. Well from what i can see is the bull x seems the most popular cross, no a few lads with saluki's they never use the word obedient!! having said that all lurchers do well with the right training. The bull x looks the part big strong, are they better at lamping than day work?? they maybe look the part but at the end of the day looks dont kill, ive a 1/4 bull with a little bit of collie and ive done day and night with her, but there not suited for daytime hare but are still capable of it, my bitch is of a simuler cross and ill second that.
  6. only ever seen one work its not very fast and it yaps like feck. im not saying they are all or most like that but the one ive seen is. but ive read on here that there are some good ones about so ime sure some one with a bit more info could tell you more. good luck with the pup and happy hunting
  7. bullx can and do catch hares simple as that... but no they are not as good at it as a saluki cross just the same as saluki can and dose. take fox but are not as good at it as the bullx

Now you just need to work out how to fit a game carrier to his Bonnet! LOL Cracking photo's by the way, captured the moment perfectly! they'll still be making you smile in years to come. All the Best to you and yours. 21. there is a waren that me and a few mates do and there must be at the very least 1000 holes along the full edge of 2 fealds so we dont bother with nets we just have a cupple of lurchers at each side and put all our ferrets in it takes most of the day to work but its a good day.
  22. every time i go ferreting my lad (will 2 1/2 years old) asks me if he can come so after weeks and weeks of him nagging i let him come we only did one warren but he loved it helped me set the nets witch i hade to set propaly but the one he did set ok got the rabbit he was buzzing. but now every morning he says dad can we go ferreting so the nagging has only got worse and thats me done for the year now so ive got till sept getting nagged every morning. this is hin on the way in his jeep (or should i say his ferreting jeep as he now calls it) and one just after we got the 1st ra
