Also, let's not forget that as well as totally quitting 100%, duran was dirty as f**k when things weren't going his way. In his fight with ken buchanan, he continually threw low blows from the 1st round onwards, but was warned only once for it, in the 12th round! After the bell at the end of the 13th, he hit buchanan low so hard he ruptured one of his testicles and should've been disqualified but they gave him the win!! Whenever I hear people say 'the four kings' I cringe. Three kings definitely, hagler, leonard and hearns. Duran was a dirty fighter his whole career

Jones was never really a light heavyweight, never mind a heavyweight. That just shows how bad the guys were in those division at the time. Any fighter of any weight can be dropped in the first couple of rounds, don't you know?! Lol

Yes he was a hard man, but realistically he DID lose a few fights don't care what even his biggest fans say. Just because someone has an unbeaten record, ESPECIALLY WHEN BOXING WAS RUN BY THE MAFIA, doesn't mean they are a great, ubeaten boxer. Far from it ?

You obviously more of a leonard fan then lol. I personally think hagler was so f****d off with the loss in that fight in the twilight of his career, he chose to do the right thing. Don't get me wrong, I obviously know leonard's also a legend ?

I'm still going with joshua was dropped badly, sparring 8 days before the fight, and it was covered up. As a few people have said, money talks, and hearn, tv networks etc etc had far too much to lose. And yes, probably underestimated ruiz and thought he'd still beat him. He definitely wasn't right before the fight
