We left it on and tied a 3 kilo coal weight to it, to make it fair on the labs and spaniels running :laugh: Looks like it couldn't pull the skin of a rice pudding.............

Sorry lads just in..... Been dropping a few 500 yard dummies for buzz there, to be honest it's getting easier everyday. Does anyone know where I can get a mega loud whistle as he is not hearing me whistle at these ranges.... Lol

What would be the advantage of putting greyhound into a gundog?........... A more versatile athletis animal perhaps, now if I had a pound for every time I seen labs etc have gates opened for them or be lifted over a fence I'd be a rich man for sure. back to these shit dogs that you have seen again mate.....6 bar gate no problem here.... But stop and think , the question is basically about lurchers versus gundogs (simplified I know) your comparing them to your labs, might anyone else be (me) comparing their lurchers to the labs they've seen. I wouldn't tag myself as a good gundog trainer as i am learning myself. Luckily i have a very good dog in the kennel which must be 75% in the dog and i've added my 25% too training. I would love to have a running dog and i'm sure 1 day i will, i would like to think i could install some training into it and be very interested to see the outcome............ Get a well bred collie x, you might get a pleasant surprise. Not really the cross i was thinking but i'm sure a little bit of collie would be nice............
