You see that dimple tray you've got in TG.....is that how much you put in straight away? I'd only give them a tiny sprinkle so they can see the red dimples....it helps them too peck and realise that its feeding......

Bit mental, but i'm not that surprised. I used to date a South African girl who had just moved over here with her family. They had brought two Ridgebacks with them, not the pussy ones you see over here, but the real deal, some VERY impressive looking dogs. They had an absolute hatred of black folk, mainly due to the fact that most crime around them was committed by blacks and so were trained that if they saw an unknown black trying to enter the house / yard etc, they just piled in. True....but the same can be said about foxes and we all know people do exactly that......... That don't always make it right Lab. I've been on permissions where killing foxes would see you thrown off the land. I'm sure you're aware of the damage a large population of rabbits can do to arable land? I sure am mate.....lets say someone gets a bit of permission for rabbits....he loves doing so but has noticed that alot of his sport is getting bumped of by stoats.....would that be now acceptable for him to kill a few?..... This is a similar thing as the BOP threads.......atlea -

What next, hit it over the head with a hammer?..... if hitting it over the head with a hammer doesn't work, then stand on one of it feet Never got passed the hammer training.............. what size hammer were you using? i find a toffee hammer to start of with usually works. Only once have i had to use the sledge. WOW mate you go the wrong end of the stick here.... This is what i use..... -

You sure it's the stoats killing them mate? Just curious, how are you finding the bodies? +1 Also, if someone has given you permission to shoot rabbits on their land, what makes you think they'd gave you permission to kill all legal quarry? I'm second guessing here so may be wrong, but if I gave permission to somebody to come onto my land & control rabbits, I'd be pretty pissed off if they were shooting one of natures effective natural forms of rabbit control... Usually if someone want's you on their land to control rabbits they want them killed, not sustained for someone else' -

I'm not telling you what to do but i know what i'd do for a burst nose on a working dog.......if you want you can go and grace the vet with your money for him to send you home again...... Take it to the vet if it makes you feel at easy though.
