when have you ever lost your voice :D Well thats twice in 32 years mate......can still type though... Amazing how much you need your voice, even going to the shop you feel like a ignorant b*****d!! Hopefully this does not effect my angelic singing voice.....

Not Man Flu but f**k have i got one sore throat. Thats twice now in 3 weeks i've lost my voice, last time i never had a sore throat though but this time its unreal. Could be the start of Man Flu or worse Tonsillitis.......... Last time i was at my doc's was 11/12 year ago, i'm not going for a bloody sore throat!!!....

I had a cracker about 5/6 years ago. Had a 90 defender and the snow was pretty deep and i had to go pick my ex and her Mum up from work. Well on the way back there was about 10 bairns lined up with snowballs, i knew what was coming... ...they rattled the side of the motor so i spun the Landy round, drove up on the kerb and flew after them. they had about a 100 metre run or so too a small dyke, shitting themselves they all dived over the dyke..... Thought my ex's Mum was going to have a heartattack.....i was pissing myself....little b*****ds!!!....

I'm lucky there mate it's all private so we can concentrate on the sport and no worry too much about the bag, though we still have a bag expectation for the day Oh.....a walk in the park then........ LOL yeah I know mate can,t understand why I get so worried about it all :laugh: :laugh: Well dont be shouting at any guns or you'll be a new thread on here ..............

I'm sorry but thats bollocks we start the 5th of oct and the birds have full tails and best even some of the top shots in the uk (first drive of the season went 350 shots for 19 birds)all that needs to happen is for keepers to do their job and get the birds in early enough to be mature before the start of the season FFS who was shooting the local blind school???..

Yes but the keeper doesn't know that till the end of the day unless the guns are saying after every drive that they are enjoy it. Keepers go on end of day bags, if they reach there target then there job has been done. If a keeper sees guns not shooting at birds theres nothing worse........and what someone thinks is not a sporting bird can be very different from another. Although this thread does make a nice change from the shoots i go too as its normally "head down" kind of stuff!!..... I'm not sure how that's justification for his behaviour Lab. A simple chat with the guns after a drive
