    Its funny you say that cuz the absolute best coyote dog I ever seen by far wouldnt even a chase a deer.     as a young lad , me and a mate were out lamping foxes . we were hugging the hedge rows and we noticed something on the sky line . we sneaked as close as possible . low and behold we could make out a geezer dancing and skipping around , then lying down etc . feck it we flicked on the old lorry head lamp there he was bang in the middle of the field pullin the head off it feck me did he let out a scream . we chased him a couple a hundred yards . but we were greetin wey laughing.

    dan with the exception of red deer , there are dogs over here that took deer ( pre ban ) (keep myself right here) with ease . there was a line of lurcher we kept years ago (30) big dogs 28"-30" hare dogs . these animals would break off hares to go after deer , every time . and if they made contact once it was game over , no fecking about . the one thing that puzzles me is ,, the better deer dogs pissed about on teeth , whereas the lesser deer dog smashed the jaggy boys . strange ? very little saluki and no bull blood . just good big dog put to good big dog the 80s and 90s , everyone had th

    some (lines) get hammered hard , hence an injury or two . most dog lads have went through bad times with injuries and some dogs go that extra mile to get the job done and take a bump or two in doing so imo the slower types tend to stay more sound throughout a full season . still rather have the faster type
