get your cctv set up watching your dogs , muzzle your dogs up and record it all make sure all the dogs in the area are barking there heads of even if you have to bribe the kids to wind them up then send a copy of the dvd to the council and say this is what you have to put up with and point out that your dogs are quiet see dvd and would they be kind enough to send there letters to the people concerned and leave you in peace , if they do give you a noise abatement ntice apeal it staight away you have 28 days to do this if you dont appeal it , it will be there for ever and the minute a dog barks -
id go for the barryvox everytime its far better than the b &f and the barryvox will pick up multiple collars were as the b &f wont

99% of the time will have a resporitory infection but they ll tell you its lungworm so as to charge you a fortune for treatment , i know of a vet that told this women her dog had lungworm and he would have to keep it in for a few days then sent it home with a course of novaclav 250 mil tablets for 5 days and charged the silly bitch £632 dick turpin or what !!!
-
why oh why is everybody so obsesed with lungworm , its very rare in this country but vets have jumped on the bandwagon and are scareing people into treating something they havent and are not likely to get just to keep the dollars rolling in , you soon know if a dog has lungworm as its breathing will be heavy and you ll see droplets of blood on its nose , breathing can be very laboured when out exerciseing its easy treated using ivermectin based products and antibiotics

in fairness they did listen to the complaints of last year re dog show this year there was ringside parking and a working terrier judge but they started it to early it should have been 1230 ish not 11 , the fair itself has gone down hill i couldn t even get a pair of wellys let alone clothes that fit [man size] it really could do with a shake up but as long as there payin for the pitch i doudt it will change

Wormer's That Cover Everything..
TOPPER replied to Millet's topic in Working Dog Health & Training Talk
advocate , panacur, milbermax are all good wormers BUT IVERMECTIN AND ADVOCATE DO NOT DO TAPEWORMS i dont think there is any product on the market that does everything so it pays to use different products as some kill what others dont for me i use a good allround wormer every 2 months and once a year i give them a shot of ivermec and have never had any problems and my mutts are 100% barf fed -
sprinkle salt around the edge of the kennel
