  1. fox bolter you seem inbred. Whatever you write seems absolute bullshit. Your a f***ing clown and you couldn't bolt a rat. Eished!
  2. you are lacking a brain, and probably a decent dog. And your doing my f***ing head in with your mongolism you must bred too close.
  3. Also it's more to it than worker to worker.
  4. that's what happens when terriers are in the hands of thick fu*k's. If they got that much pedigree and it isn't working for them why keep it going? not rocket science is it?
  5. Gates open at ten judging starts at 1. Digging competition £100 prize for the winners.
  6. seems very sound advice. Good post.
  7. Will make a trip up for this 1 weather permitting, have heard nothing but good about the show and heard even better about the foot pack of hounds it benefits.
  8. Everybody is right on here I'm big your small I'm right your wrong I'm smart your dumb and there's nothing you can do about it!
  9. Anyone got any experience with a ridgeline monsoon 2? Same as the elite I think just with better cuffs and hood. Currently got harkila pro hunter but it's far to big on me and ridgeline is a lot cheaper
  10. I'd say family and line breeding are the same, but I could be wrong.
  11. is that your take on it or a known fact? So what would half brother half sister be?
  12. Think showing starts at 1 not sure about the racing. Digging competition after the show... £100 prize!
  13. don't think I'd fancy breeding anything else other than PatterdaleS, and definitely not crossing two different breeds. But surely if a dog has been bred to something related I.E half brother half sister mating, then somehow folded back in with something from the same family, then carried on... isn't that line breeding, or starting / trying to line breed? I know some people who would breed 5 generations in quite a short time, but others who could take years and years to get through 5 generations
  14. If your not breeding to the same type is that then outcrossing? And what do you mean same type? Just curious myself iv never line bred but would obviously like to do so when I think the time will be right.
  15. is that a straight line or a bendy 1
  16. same thing but different way of putting it isn't it? line, strain, family? Another question is when does a man call a 'line' his own?????? After 1 litter? After 5 generations? If ever at all?
  17. As in line breeding I imagine? Not just put this on that and that on that And hope for the ( as some like to say )
  18. if stapling I'd use hydrogen peroxide. Slightly diluted in a fairy liquid squeeze bottle apply to each wound and let it fizz all the crap out. Then wash off all the fizz and any crap that's came out with hibiscrub so it's clear there's nothing left inside, then say if it needed ten staples, put about 7 in...squeeze some dry cow into the wound then put the other staples in so it holds it all in. Whatever you do make sure the wound is 110% clean because it can hide an infection for a few days that you won't see until some gammy puss starts seeping out. Also clean any mud/soil or whatever is arou
  19. Also a good dog will teach you a lot...........it's all about time.
  20. a very experienced bitch I used to lamp would always run the beam, even then shed overrun a squatter if he sat tight enough, rather than shine the beam straight up the field onto the rabbit and past it, hold the lamp in the air then shine it down on the rabbit using just the spot rather than the whole beam. Narrow it down from a 250m beam or whatever it is to a spot, once you and dog get the hang of it job done. Also when walking upto a squatter walk at it head on so it gives the dog that extra split second it may need...keep at it, you'll learn most of it yourself, I did.
