    super glue the best stitch money can buy.have done myself ,dogs,kids,wife after c section midwife was not too pleased. witch hazel cure all most skin creams are based on it,super for cuts.

    phantom go to the doc's. i now work in the fishing industry and hands getting cut up and scabby is all part of the job.after the doc had tired this and that, use witch hazel as a wash and super glue the cuts . ps wear boxing gloves in bed will stop you playing around .

    been off for a few days sorting the house found and old mercury which reminded me of a shooting session i had with it .this was about 28 yrs ago am 43 now. set up an indoor target in my dads garage found some empty 12 bore cases placed them on the back wall , set about shooting them, after about five mins aimed for one hit it dead centre only to recieve a thump in my stomach.lifted my jumper to find a pellet in my tummy had hit a 12 case with a live primer init ,my dad had not reloaded it just changed the primer but i reckon it had about 25 ft lbs

    hw's are good. try gamo shadow cheap but bleeding good money,webley's are not too bad but i have a perverted obession with the old vulcan who needs a multi shot when you can lock and load a good old b/barrel so quickly.

    hi ,you can get close to 12 from it but expect it to eat scopes if a normal tune ie washer,spring (not an ox or whatever) and barrel seal you should get around 10-11 ft lbs not my fav bsa try wasp pellets both the 5.5 and 5.6 good price and they are goos for close range hunting and nowadays you get the free pointed ones in a tin. if you are looking for a 2nd hand rifle look for a webley vulcan good starter and plenty of power for hunting and better built

    don't work for them anymore and he was my boss,an ex painter and decorator who fancied pest control for a job had no idea. when i worked for another company used to get call outs for sparrows inside supermarkets.that was sport amazing how a sprinkler can look like a sparrow through the scope.

    nice point phantom,however what image do the cammo clad hunters give,i never wear cammo when hunting but see loads of people walking around here looking like rambo even when they are off to the shop, realtree etc have a lot to answer . and why do they need to wear cammo at night?

    the way things are going we soon won't have a say but i don't think it is a good idea,no way would they let us have move ft/lbs.you can get an fac if you want 30 ft/lbs. they would increase the restrictions even ban use for hunting like quite a few other countries do. no keep it as it is

    waid /thank you for reply.not sure if it is unlawful to disturb if they are coming into the area and not using any part as a holt .but if someone was fishing and scared the otters away then cant see why not. i know the electric fence seems the easy option but the layout makes it impracticle. have now put out bouys with solar lights on them hopfully they will cast enough light to upset them during hunting times as any ripple gets the lights moving .

    hello all . as stated before used to work in pest control (or prevention).and still get the odd phone call from old clients asking for some info .well this call came from a chap who has had a lake dug out to help the water voles!! and to house his carp all was well until the cold spell,he found a number of 20 lb carp dead on top of the ice this went on for 10 days BEFORE he called me . got down there only marks i could find where otter prints the lake is now devoid of fish so how would anyone deal with this problem legally as i think the laws regarding otter protection are more effective th

    try the companies in the yellow pages get a cv off to them,just because the head office is miles away it does not mean they don't need help in your area but the thirty mile redius is a bit limited. when i worked for terminix now ecolab my area was north wales,mid wales,chester,wrexham and anywhere else they sent me.7 days a week 06.00 am until whenever the good old days. then pestokill in brum then north wales but not long with them as peed off too quickly

    not worth it in my opinion always had a problem finding the right pitch for my dogs and if the dog is hundred yards out still hunting it will ignore but two sharp pips of a normal wistle it comes back in.
