    has the hammer spring been changed do you know..is the trigger very light...what lbs pressure is trigger pull...fishing scales and line on the trigger gun fixed pull scales see what pressure is required to set it off..

    hello how many times has it done it .is it fully cocked or do you think it is cocked...last time i had a problem like that someone had changed the spring behind the hammer and it caused a pcp to go off when you closed the bolt...the spring held to much pressure for the trigger sear...

    people will not accept a cross away from the norm.a lurcher needs to be part this part that.what happened when bulls were first added did everyone say wow what an idea or why... most dogs will hunt and these pups may be good workers but it will take time and a lot of hard work to get anything out of them. i have crossed a dobie with a lurcher this was not a kennel cookup but something i had been thinking about for about 18months...i think with the right amount of effort they will do the job i want. i also have a ess cross lab which was a kennel cookup by a known dog man mmm this thing

    why not if you want one try it as long as you keep with it,its easy to get a lurcher to work to the gun and retrive my old bitch aggy used to work to the lamp,retrive game,shot by shotgun and airrifle.she even retrived duck shot on the foreshore ...so a cross like this might do the job for you who knows...

    bollox how can any fishing not be a sport, a blood sport in fact. be it spear fishing,walking over flounders it's fishing if you go sea fishing is it sport to catch 200 mackies a day just because you can no thats slaughter.. ,

    my dogs ears have brewers droop ...big shrimp..can't even dock the tails now which is one reason did not want to breed her to another dobie.. cody they will be used for rabbits and agility(?).am keeping 2 and have 2 people interested in 2 pups... so have to try and sell 4 but if they don't go will build another kennel block.. this cross was done not for money or the next super dog ..it's just i wanted a litter from my dobie and as she is small and willing to work put her to a small whippetx lurcher.. must say all pups have a lot of spirit at mo and they are coming on well. am

    do you kneel down and call the pup or stand up? as he's only 5 months you will tower over him and as he thinks you are the top dog he may be scared of bringing it into you.had a similar problem with a gundog of mine but after a bit of encouragement we got round it...call pup back when kneeling then after a while standing... just my view..

    if a white dog makes the bunnies run a mile away, how come i can get close to them with my ess when out and about.. shes 90% white... and if thats the case can a rabbit tell the difference between a white dog and a sheep from a mile..what crap..... if the dog works then enjoy it.... as for the blood after an injury then yes it will look worse but then again you will notice any cut quicker on a white dog and be able to sort it quicker...

    snoopy thats the most honest thing i have ever read on a web forum,but what done is done you can't change it and at the time it was the right thing to do... change the tone a bit..ask my wife to be if it would be okay to sleep with the best friend...

    one is an s other an older model....only reason am playing with them is having a clear out and to be honest after putting then back together ejoyed having a plink with them...by sat will have one ready for a hunt just have too dig out some flares and a polyester jumper..oh and a 4 x20 scope bunnies taken 70's style..

    had not heard of that.....returns from loft with 177 airsporter...maybe thats the volume mod trobb offered.thanks will try that one too.. have fitted a ptfe type seal to one bsa today(do nites sometimes)..588fps but a bit of brunt off lube first few so will put a few hundred thru it and see what happens..

    hi ww do you apply a primer first! regards davy no i don't used to then found the primer lifted but this stuff is made to stick to cast iron so it does not need one just layer the ugger on...

    i use ultra high temp matt black paint its meant for pot belly stoves etc but it gives a good coverage and is very flat ,£9.00 a tin.but you need to layer it and leave it for a day to dry..
