hello all ,how do you confirm a dogs breeding do you take the sellers word for it or is it better just to buy a dog you like the look of. my first dog was a solo pup thrown by a farm collie who had a late night visit from a lurcher no idea of what breeding he had but the pup turned into a great dog for me,worked the lamp,bushed,hunted up for the gun and was a joy to own. when we took her to shows everybody had an idea of what it had in it.beddy,whippet,grey,wheaton.god it had more x's than the pope. so how do you tell?

back in 1985 my father got a working red setter great working dog but he would not mate with any bitches at all. but he used to try it on with with cat and we caught him raping our working collie when it was chained up in the yard setter's name was jason maybe that was a clue.collie was called butch but we don't think he was that butch..

hello all,well she had 8 pups 4 dogs 4 bitches. answer a few questions now. not intending to breed a super lurcher as too many out there,any one who buys a pup will get told it will be a what it is and so mr breeder who does sale and return if one of your dogs is trained badly or will not work due to ill treatment you give your money back..mmm lurcher used was a small whippet cross about 25 in. fast little git and a good heart.my bitch hunts and lamps but it is a bit like watching a slo mo replay but fun. 7 pups are a light sandy brown with black ears and nose,one total black bitch.stud do

well my doberman had her pups and considering her colour and the shires colour i have severn pups with tan bodies and black ears,nose's . and one completely black .will post pic's of pups,mum and shire as soon as pups eyes have openedam keeping one and will reg updates on how a dobermanxwhippet lurcher does.

skelly am no idiot mate as my doberman works well to rabbit,rat hunts up snipe and other game to the gun (i also have two other gundogs esp and esp lab cross)i wanted to cross her not buy a dog for silly money have two people who are deffo taking a pup any left over will be advertised and if not sold will be kept.not selling them for silly money unlike a load of doberman puppies worth £700 each and then letting them go for peanuts because no one wants to buy them. chirst if a so called name in the lurcher world bred a doberman x and it appeared in a mag people like you who can't think for yo

good god only asked if anyone had seen a doberman x lurcher before and dave has a dig must be something about someone working with what they have rather than rushing out to buy a NAMED bred lurcher. as for deed done shows how much you know dave i did not do the deed a lurcher dog did,i have a bad hip can't get that low..

dave i did not state i was breeding a super dog i just wanted a litter of pups from my bitch and did not want to cross her with a doberman and wanted a lurcher. now we enter forum world .. thanks for the replies will post pic's when litter arrive.. plus a pick of the first wild pig the pups bring down at 3 weeks to prove dave wrong..

hello all,this is my first post so please be gentle. i have a doberman bitch who goes everywhere with me she works rabbits on the lamp(not the quickest but she has had a few) and works the rough stuff for game,i used to run lurchers years ago but my best bitch was killed by the lady next door before she could be bred form so when my doberman came into season and i decided to cross her with a lurcher.so she is due mid feb. anyone ever seen a doberman lurcher before as i can't find any information about them... any info kindly recieved.
