    Hi possum, had Lakelands for over 35 years. I've had workings K C Borders for 8years, Ray Walkers line. You have got that blood in your pats, this line of borders are good grafters, got a few on. 3 of us work and breed them, we will only breed from tested dogs and bitches, good finders and will stay till dug too. I didnt think you dug anymore and hadnt for a while ??     Ive seen a few run some were decent enough and some were not up to much but ye get that in any line am sure the ones that were not up to much if they had a better owner they may of faired better one thing i will say about the ones i saw they were dam fast animals,i wouldnt own one though there not my thing i just say it how i see it

    steadt away mate had few bad does this year lost a dog had that pups dam retired sire retired so three pups for next season Ive lost 1 this season as well pal was a decent old bitch and entered two young ones back end of the season they will not settle hope they will next season apart from that its been a decent one cant complain

    Of course its important ye expect a bedlington/whippet to make a good all-rounder because it takes deer and fox regular or a first cross bull grey to make a good rabbit and hare dog and parents and grandparents doing a job doesnt guarentee a pup making it in the same role it just gives ye a better chance does it not if ye could guarentee every litter because the sire and dam did the job it would be so easy picking a pup would it not,and if the sites full of pointless threads why are ye reading the pointless thread and putting a pointless comment
