    If there is shite and footprint's surely an expert could give you a definite answer to what it is and if its been ripping at woven mesh to get into the bird's there would be fur etc on it as it does not rip or tear very cleanly so to me ye have scat footprints and fur there the best things for a positive id without actualy seeing the animal but there has been no ID
