  5. Thanks for the positive advice chaps,, it got spotted at 9.30 this mornin, I got a call at 12.30 moved all my traps and cut a rabbit up and put them arround the area it was spotted.. Gutted they didn't grab it or call me sooner, it was at the bussiness next door, there are containers and all sorts round there, just checked the traps, no good so far, if it goes any further it'll be in the woods n amongst allot of rabbits.. Fingers crossed for tonight.. Thanks again

  7. One of my ferrets escaped last night, I'm gutted n am keen to get it back, I live out in the countryside with a hand full of neighbours, I've had a good look about this morning and set a few live catch rabbit traps and will set more tonight.. Anyone got any advice on how to get it back? Will it just keep going or come back??? Thanks in advance.. Hope he returns ,,
  8. Golf coarses ain't worth it with a dog, I've got permision on a 350 acre one, did it a few times last season, super fast rabbits n bunkers posts n trees to look out for and drop offs, did my dog no good at all so I gave it a miss entirely this season, get on the air rifle.. Maybe have a word with the green keeper n steer him in the direction that you would get best results from.. It's in there best interest to get the best method and results.. Thought about long netting on the right night myself..
  9. Separated and sorted, thanks all for your replies and saving me from having gay ferrets.. Atb Dan

  11. Chaps my hobbs that are brothers keep fighting causing small wounds on each other, thought that they would sort it out amongst themselves and decide who's top dog, it would seem this hasn't happened, should I separate them? Will I be able to put them back together in the winter so they can work together?
  12. Thanks stroller think I'm leaning towards one of them might even split the difference with a sprocker.. What do you think is a fair price for one from good working parents? Thanks again, Dan
  13. Id like to know what you guys would recomend for a dog that will push rabbits out of thick cover and retrieve shot pigeons/ crows to hand, I have a working lurcher and have always admired working springers and cockers, what route do you think I should go down? Thanks Dan
