  1. out this morning before 6 , set my maggy decoy up on a pole at the side of the stables ,which is not far from a good sitter tree, had about ahours wait untill i got my first shot ,it was a maggy ,came in very quite and fully focused on the decoy ,put the crosshairs on it ,pulled the trigger and down it went , next in the tree for me was 3 stock doves which are off limits to us shooters ,there as been a pair nesting here every year ive been shooting here ,which is about 8, ,they do have there uses ,they decoy the woodys in , they also returning after every shot as though nothing happene

  3. this is how my mate catches them, bates an area with the trap at the side of it for a few days and when he know there are interested and feeding ,he sets the trap over it, i ve been lucky as he usually gives me a call bird ,which work very well ,i usually have something in with in a day are two, i move it after a few days to differant areas because they get a bit wise and the cage gets a bit messy ,i also put a perch in the corner of the trap where the call bird is and put a piece of plywood that's big enough the give cover from the weather,bowl of water and food

  7. hi ,i have recently purchased 2 webley vulcans off a mate who been in a tight spot money wise ,i am going to keep 1 myself ,so this 1 is for sale ,its in .22 and in good condition for age ,its very smooth to cock and shoot, wanting £85 can add a nikko mount master scope and mounts for an extra £30 collection only,in Rotherham ,S .Yorkshire

  13. had a walk round this morning, cracking morning weather wise, ,managed a couple of squirrel's and awoody that land straight above me, if i had lean any further back i would have fell over
  14. although the air arms 400 is a cracking rifle if you find it a bit weighty, i would go for the ultra , another rifle worth alook is the air arms s200

  17. up early and out ,fields have dried a bit but not enough for efficent stalking so got my self sat under a good sitter tree ,the magpie came in first with a couple of his mates ,didn't think i was going to get a shot off as they all landed in the back of the tree, but this 1 moved higher up offering me a heart shot,i sat there a good hour with the odd visit from the magpies but they were out of reach ,just as i was getting ready to collect him a woody landed which i shot an added to my small bag, later that day i took the rifle with me while feeding the chicken, managed the 1
  18. never seen a white fox before ,,seen acouple very dark one's nearly black, the one in the vid looks a bueat seems a shame to have shot it,but thats how it goes
