  1. hi lads ive fitted the step up addapter and sony handy cam to the gun, had a play with it today, is it normal for the cross hair on the screen to move a bit from side to side when aiming? chris
  2. cheers lads, the feeders only been up a week si, i put it in an area where i have seen plenty of squizzers, the feeder is made of wire mesh so they cant really get to the nuts and seads, they rely on the birds to drop bits of food on the ground which is easier and safer to shoot in my eyes as theres a banking for a back stop. chris
  3. hi mate, yes its the cs700, i cant compare to the standard thumbhole, it had a sporter stock on before, but its a lovely gun to hold, worth every penny mate chris
  4. set a bird nut feeder out in my wood to attract the squirrels and its working, shot these two today, had to do a bit of wading thow as they both fell in the drink!

  6. hi, im having a go at filming some scope cam shooting with my sony handycam dcr sr32, my scopes are mamba lites, i want to know what size step up adapter i need for it? ive got the screw in ring from the scopes to glue to the adapter? chris

  10. i thought sony ones where decent aswell? what was up with youre collar and how did you fix it? my mk1 box picks the collars up ok, ive dug to the ferrets with mk1 box and mk3 collars, chris
  11. just been in touch with DEBEN they say the sony batteries may have zinc in them and it wont pick the collar up under ground?? got to use RAYOVAC ones chris

  15. just got a 2nd hand mk3 m locator with 2 collars from a friend,he only used it once and couldnt get to grips with it, but im having difficulty using it? it picks up very well in search mode, but when i switch to locate mode it just shows 8ft all the time and then the signal dies, ive used my mk1 box and that picks the collars up clear as hell, and its only been 3 or 4ft down ive dug to them using mk1 box. when i try the mk3 box with the ferret above ground it works fine, its everytime the ferrets under it wont pick up right? ive used sony batteries for the collar so kno cheap shit, and a new b
  16. spot on mate, it helps big time with a good marking dog, she does her job well, she had a bit of luck today with a slipped netted bunny only to run in her direction and catch, and yes shes a 3/4 whipp x 1/4beddy 21" hieght chris

Just a few hrs out on boxing day before the mad drinking sesh stars, same again hard to bolt so digging was on the agenda, deepest was 4ft, rest were only shallow, dog marked unbelievebly well. kept checking out nxt set to tell us if anyone was home? a good ferreting dog is a must in my eyes, saves alot of time and effort, ferrets worked well too, and my young poley hob, (THUD) is learning the trade well bolting 2 from a big set, and rodger my mate put his FAT hob to test, lol,, with him bolting a very stuborn rabbit that my little jill was struggling with... nice 1 rodg and dropped on so

  21. i know mate, so many dogs get spoiled and passed around cos they got a pup from working lines and think they can stick it in a shed for 12mnths and expect it to work because its parents were top name workers??? load of bollocks!!! dont get me wrong its good to know the parents have a working backghround, but its mainly how you correctly enter the dog and bring it on?
