    Ive also been told to try different pellets, I was using 5.1 and 5.2 heads but got told to try 5.3 for a tighter fit in the barrel Chris

    Yeah it's just the right size for the young ones, I think he's going to restore it , although its not in bad condition just needs a bit of blueing and the stock resanding and staining Chris

    I have the same prob with my Hw 100 177' at 35yrds they seen to group every 4 or 5 shots then the 6 7 8 shot fly all over?ive tried different pellets but to no avail? It's had all new seals fitted and reg set up, but why is it not accurate? My 22 R10 is pellet on pellet at this range?And 177 are supposed to be more accurate? Chris

    I've not yet used the scopes wayne I posted them off to dip.it hydrogrthics along with some hw100 parts yesterday, I'll try them out when I get them back, the IR should come in handy when shooting rats down the allotments on a night + the 50mil lense should let more light in than the 44 I've got on at the mo?
