Ive had an R10 22 for well over a year now and claimed quite alot of pest/ vermin with it. The balance and weight of the gun i believe is spot on for me, The shot count is good 180 in 22./ 150 in 177, more if you get it blueprinted or tench tuned??? and the accuracy with my 22 gun is unreal, along with the stopping power,it makes it a deadly hunting kit, whitch i am very confident of using!! I have also bought a hw100k 177, but had a new light weight cylinder fitted for obiviously reasons, lighter gun and better shot count? ive only had it a few weeks so not used it enough to give you a -
thanks tony, i think youres will be better cos the one i put up doesnt swivell side to side? i dont think all the cameras have the screw thread holes in the same position? mine is a finepix jx and the hole is to the far right which would be a problem i think? chris

i nearly chose the skelly stock too but changed my mind at the last minute? if you do decide to get one si take youre action through with you when you pick it up cos the wood moves with the room temp making it a tight fit, they had to make some sanding tweaks to mine to make it right! chris

nice one mate, i would deff consider a lightweight cylinder from marksman if you will be doing more night time shooting with the hw100, makes a big diff to weight and shot count mate. chris

thanks lads, hi tony i got it from customstocks rotherham, go on ebay and type CUSTOMSTOCK one word, and you will see what they have on offer, the one i chose is up for £175, cs700. but you can make an offer ? i got mine for £150 but i also had extras..... ajustable butt pad £25... rose wood cap pistol grip £15... and skip checkering £10, as for the shot count i get around 110 shots from 200 bar to 90 bar before the shots start dropping..thats not bad for a 177 karbine!! chris

thanks bill, its a dream to shoot the 100k. and the new lightweight cylinder from (marksman) makes hell of a difference on the overall weight and balance. oh and thanks for comments on the dog, shes a bonny girl and its true what they say about them looking like their owners! ha!

Thanks si, the R10 is a great bit of shooting kit, and the hydrograthics on the gun from (WWW.DIP-IT.CO.UK) looks smart, and is real tough stuff! chris

i use a crow call, and a plastic toy tub inside those kinder suprises, put in half a dozen pellets and it mimics the magpie call when you shake it, theye are very inquisative to see whats going on, i also use a falcon decoy which they go crazy for. chris

i didnt eat it stealthy, my mate asked me to get him one to eat, and the jay was for a mate who makes sticks, hes going to put the blue feathers on one of his sticks using that resin kit you get. the body went to the ferrets! chris

ive just got myself a hw100 177, just need to play about with it to get into the 177 rythme! my mates thinking of getting his ultra (tench tuned) i phoned him last week on the number you have on youre signature but the line was dead! has he gone off on hols? or has he a new number mate?

thanks lads, he was over the moon, ill take a bit of credit thow as my dog circled the tree to bring the squizzer into shot for him, lol hi zini, it s a 22 and uses accupell to great affect! i had a play with it and its deadly accurate. LJ will probably beat me as its my first HFT comp and im useless without my rangefinder! ha! id ask for some tuition, but i think you might be quicker training a DERBY winner mate.
