  1. What do you think ? i might even be a Sony shooter
  2. Thought this might be a good thread to see some designs of how lads transport their dogs around he's mine: It's nothing fancy but it does the job
  3. Thanks lads for the nice comments , the pups are out of a whippet bitch that my brother bred back in Tyneside and the dog is Basically Collie/Whippet/Greyhound, he's 10 now and still going strong , its the forth generation of these that i've bred now, good dogs for smaller stuff, bunnys and the odd hare and mustard on charlie, and have been really good on Racoon out here ! i brought the bigger lurcher in for coyotes , but she's still young so we'll see how she turns out .
  4. I took these this morning whilst out on my morning walk with the dogs
  5. That is an awesome photo! A guy from a camp in the same area as our moose camp hunts coyote hounds in the Madoc area (east of Peterborough). He uses bluetick/walker crosses. Not a formal hunt like this but the same idea. Excellent pictures! thanks BS where are you located , and what lurchers are you running?
  6. Here's picture taken back on the summer
  7. Great shots !! what was the lens ?must be some UWL ?
  8. There's probably not that many out there , but would love to see whats over this side of the pond, any pics and hunt reports would be good too here's a few to get started. these are a couple of the pups i bred earlier last year and this girl is just a young one i brought in , she's lurcher to lurcher but the sire was 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie
  9. Is that knackered old van still going !!!! they're good lads,
  10. We're in London Ontario , its about 2 1/2 hrs south west of Toronto
  11. The 1.6 TC iS what i have , the only thing with the x1.6 TC is you loose the AF on the 100-400, but you can cheat by putting tape over the last two terminals and it works
  12. If you Lads ever want to come over you'd be welcome, lots to hunt, even in Spring we go to a 300 acre training pen that is stocked with Coyote, its great for getting pups started, so when the season starts in August the pups know what their job is, it has a couple of 20 ft viewing stands so you can see whats going on see the pics below
  13. Here's a picture of the last Coyote we caught this season he was 52LBs , hounds ran him nice for about an Hour and 15mins and caught him in a big ditch, i think he thought he was too big to get caught and faced the hounds on in the ditch silly mistake, we've run other coyotes this season that have taken over 2 hours of running before hounds have been able to catch them, so i think this fella just thought he was too big for his boots :stupid:
  14. Nice shots , are you using a crop body or FF ?
  15. What are the bassets mixed with to get the Black and Tan ? Standard Dachshund ?
  16. I think that might be the most expensive digging trip you've ever been on about a grand for the flight and then depending on how many dogs you bring but around 350 a dog , vet cert another 50 quid, Rabies Jab another 30 quid could cost you a pretty penny
  17. Thanks Craig, i still see the cubs around the kennels and no sign of mange so hopefully they'll be around to breed and then we can hunt them next season
  18. I shot a bunch of pictures of this litter that was at the end of our road back in the summer , it was dusk and the first time i'd used this lens (Canon 100-400L ) soo they're not the sharpest but nice shots i thought its nice to see foxes around, for all i hunt a pack of foxhounds my main Quarry is Coyote, the Coyotes displace and kill off the foxes because they're in competition for food, so its nice to see.
  19. Holly crap, there some big bloody rats !!!!! I wish i saw more of em over here , nothing like a good bit of ratting to sharpen the dogs up and get young dogs going, and i have to agree great to see the young uns out enjoying it
