  1. I'd agree with what has been sai, it may wel be down to not enough work, and built up frsutration, he just wanted to run and nail something!
  2. Aye, it can be a worry at times, and a bit embaressing. But he knows what he is doing. He usually shadows you, on a walk, always knows where you are ,but doing his own thing. I got him direct from Mike Brown. He was a real gent, really knowedgeable etc. I wouldnt hesitate to have another direct from him.
  3. Some days. . . . you could fecking have him! He's great, but feck me is he singe minded, and has no 'off' switch, if we are out of the house, we are hunting, simple as that. Half the time you don't see him when we are out. He just does his thing, and reappears just when you are about to get pissed off / worried. But he can sure find game, never met a dog with a work ethic like it.
  4. Hey Mate, Well done, and cheers for posting! What's the stry behind them, how did you get into them, and how many have you reared etc? Quite like jays, them being my namesake an all.
  5. Thanks jamie, that's much appreciated You'd be welcome to use the little b*****d. He's a good dog, if you can accept that when it comes to hunting, he does / goes, what and where he thinks is best. Most of the time. . . . the little fecker is right Maybe after a fw more years, he will have learnt how to 'relax'? I'd say, that a lot of the strong dogs (obviously not all) have blood that comes from Mike Browns kennels.
  6. Been on loads of time, but here's my lad.
  7. As far as i'm aware, they just have a thing in them that you can't not scan something and add it to the bag, however, they can't tell what it was or was not that you scaned. A mate of mine, used to do his shopping by going to the reduced section, removing all of the car code stickers and then go around and stick them on steaks, etc etc etc. Then just go and scan it all through the self scan, and get it all or pennies. If caught, he would just claim that it must have been some dumb employee that reduced the wrong stuff.
  8. Just to throw something in . . . . those self service till things ARE a shop lifters best friend though.
  9. Enjoy them mate, ferrets are great! Handle them loads.
  10. First things first, taking anything but rabbits and rats would be illegal. Second thing - a 23" dog of the right calibre should be capable of doing most things, although may not be a specialist in certain fields. If you are attached to him and he makes you happy, what more could you ask for?
  11. Well done mate, i had one yesterday, around the pens, made my day, i really do hate the litter feckers.
  12. It's just because pork goes bad quick, but as long as they eat it fairly uickly it will be fine.
  13. It's really really nice, to see someone that has put some real thought and time into making their ferret hutch.
  14. Wild bird shoot - Pray for good weather, and kill everything and anything that might take eggs, chicks, or birds. Do a bit of habitat management and a bit of feeding to make life easier for them. Released bird shoot - Serious habitat management, Feeding like clock work, Dog in like a mad man, and kill the vermin when you have a chance or have a problem animal.
  15. Shame it's not a bull / grey, you'd get pure bullshit.
  16. Nice pup mate. You're just down the road from us

  20. Don't really know for sure mate, but about 12-14 " tts.
  21. Cheers all! Aye johnny, finn is coming right round to her npw. In fact i just had to put her in the cage, as he was being too playful with her! BTR - I hope it works out as well mate, i didn't really decide on 3/4 beagle, i just really liked the litter etc and thought it was worth a go.
  22. Cheers guys (and girl). She is a little mad thing. Markings like a teckle, head like a beagle, and attitude of a terrier. So no idea how she will turn out, other than hard work She seems a smart wee thing though, as i said, she takes her self out to toilet, and will carry a tennis ball back, or her toy. Bites like a shark though, and a very strong jaw even at this age. I'm sure she will keep me fit!
