    . Clive used it over his bitch after the memorial cup, he was so impressed with the young dog. John Y saw the dog run for a full season on the fen and told me the dog was top class and beautifully conditioned. John had buddy and maloneys judy and i had del.....Happy Days!!!

    Delboy lined clives bitch and she had 9 pups,i never took one and CM got the one i would have had,some of them turned out decent im told but none as good as the parents.I took for granted that if i ever got the hunger back id line a top class bitch with him and keep a pup,i lined miles bitch and wayne,s bitch from leicester within 2 weeks of each other and both never took.Itook him down to a top greyhound stud and did some tests and to cut a long story short hes not producing any semen.

    Delboy is my dog and its true the dog didnt get run enough,im the first to admit it and if anybody asks i tell them the truth,i wish i had him as a pup again but shit happens and you move on.I lost heart in most things at the time not just dogs and people that know me well enough know what happened.Self praise is no praise and i never had to talk my own dog up,everybody who saw him run was impressed and did the talking,he was ran twice sometimes 3 times a week in his first season allover lincolnshire,cambridge and very rarely missed.Some good dogmen seen him run and all said he was class,i wis

    Fair enough mate,watson was really good,didnt have no flash but well schooled and strong and again very likeable,its a shame what happened to him.Fair enough khan has won a world title but in my eyes to gain the recognition you need to box a world class fighter which he has not,personally i dont think he will cut it at top level just like you said.

    It wasnt a debate as to who the better fighter was....i was simply saying that at the stage of his career Khan is at now,Nigel Benn was exatly the same at that stage of his.....an unexpected defeat,a suspect chin a reputation as a banger,and a trip over the pond to make him a better allround fighter,their careers are mirror images of each other......im not for one minute trying to suggest Khan is or ever will be as good a fighter as Benn was....im a big Benn fan,he was from my manor at a time when i was around a few gyms myself and he was a likeable lad so im not putting him down at all.....he

    Just found this thread and totally agree with attack fell terrier,nigel benn was a different gravy altogether than khan,a total injustice to benn which has already been said...benns defeats came to quality fighters or when he was past it,benn had ko power which khan hasnt,knans biggest tool is his speed but hasnt the variety to trouble world class fighters like timothy bradley etc,he still looks very vunerable to me,lets see how he fares against a timothy bradley etc,khan isnt half the fighter benn was and never will be.

    Thanks for the advice mate,ive changed feeds without any success,he lives in but we dont smoke etc,it definatley gets worse with the more work he does,speaking to a highly recommended vet today suggesting tonsills could be the problem,booked in for nextweek and a long drive to see if we can get sorted.

    I have a dog with a problem we cant shift,when has ran or worked hard he has a build up of mucus at the back of his throat restricting his breathing,its like thich white crap,he even has like a film of mucus in his throat even when not working,ive had him to a few vets and after a few examinations and long courses of antibiotics its no better,he also burps aswell as if he has acid build up,he is wormed regular and ive stumped as to what to do,can anyone offer any advice or or know of a good greyhound vet etc,im in the north east,thanks

    Im putting this in the greyhound section as there might be more knowledge on this problem,i have a lurcher which has developed this problem as when he is either trained or has ran quarry suffers from a build up of mucus at the back of his throat,and even when he isnt excurting himself he always has like flem at the back of his mouth,i now have lost faith in the vets ive been to see,he has had numerous courses of antibiotics,cameras etc but still cant get rid of it,its frustrating that vets havent a clue,surely this isnt such a rare disorder,he quite often burps so to speak aswell as if hes got
