    thinking of applying for my SGC when i make a bit of cash. shotgun will mostly be used for pigeons, crows and rabbit? dont want to pay through the nose for first gun, any suggestions?

    thinking of applying for a shotgun licence, would mostly be shooting pigeons, crows and rabbits. i was thinking id buy a 3 shot semi auto if my application was accepted. but was a bit confused whether i needed to apply for the SGC or a fire arm cetificate coz it says the shotgun doesnt have a magazine or capable of holding more than 2 cartridges but this gun obv has 3 shots? thanks for any help
