    i had just came back from holiday and decided to phone the fao, he gave me a call a few days later saying it was being signed, came back from work and trainin to find it siiting on the table.. lets hope you get it soon! yeah i applied for both 22 and 223.. at the moment iv been thinking cz or sako for the 22.. not too sure about the 223 yet.. any good suggestions?

    fac and sgc arrived yesterday! didnt take too long, about 8 weeks with the borders and lothian police..

    do you guys think it would be dangerous to a kit that's say about the 12 week mark and put him in next to a full grown hob? iv not had an older and younger ferrets in together as mine were the same age from different litters

    got my visit with the firearms officer this thursday late afterrnoon/evening... pretty excited.. didnt have to wait too long

    finally pulled my finger out and got my applications ect sorted for a SGC and FAC.. sent them off the other day.. so the waiting has started

    well the permission i have isnt wide open spaces so wouldnt be shooting deer at long ranges, and the rifle will mostly be used for fox and small ground game so i was applying for a 223 but would like to be able to have a pop at a roe every now and then

    theres a chance of shooting deer on some permission i may be obtainin and im wondering if the borders and midlothian firearms department are strict on having done a dsc1 ect first? coz i havent, i wouldnt be doin alot of deer shooting but wondering if it worth puttin it on the application?

    thanks.. so for the 22lr, do i need to apply somewhere for the subbies or does that come under vermin control where i wrote it on reason for the application?

    oryt i see.. just looking on the hornady website and it said that the v-max - Explosive expansion, even at low velocities.. so i thought it was expanding ammo

    on the referance form that my countersignature is going to fill in.. question 4 says... has applied for a firearm certificate in order to possess (insert type of firearm).. sorry if im being a bit stupied, just didnt think you's were understanding what i ment

    i mean for my countersignature person, they have to fill out a form to say wat my attitude to firearms is ect.. it asks for wat kind of firearm, so im guessing its just rifle as im not applying for pistol or anything?
