Got to say top service from them, ordered a new 12v 18ah battery on tuesday and it just turned up today, friday the same week! £38 quid including postage and delivered by a right nice looking bird too

"terrible recall" no recall whatsoever more like Have to say i've seen Ella, the dog in those pics, hunt and she has never made a squeak let alone open up, she is as quick as my lurcher and just as silent lure coursing and better on the turn too and for a pedigree show bred dog her prey drive is amazing, but she is very hard headed and wilfull and very demanding and vocal in the house! I cant see as you would want to breed a lurcher out of her though.

Went into the local gun shop today and splashed out a whole ten pounds on a new general knock about/deer knife! Any how got it home and you couldn't have cut an apple with it and the bevel was aweful, sort of a two step thing i:e flat of the blade then the ground bevel and then a second really steep bevel to the cutting edge. So a few hours of re-grinding later, two on the coarse stone and maybe an hour on the fine and i've just, just managed to shave a patch of hair off my arm! I've no idea on the make as there are no marks or names on it but the steel seems fairly good all the sa

Their Malteese name mean hound of the rabbit, they are designed to hunt rabbits in the rough rocky terrain of Malta or for working with ferrets! Wouldn't want to let Ella any where near a ferret mind!

I have ordered a 12v 18ah battery for my cyclops lamp and i'm just wondering will the battery for my 12v tracer gun lamp charge the bigger battery or do I need to get a new charger as well? The tracer battery is 12v 3ah so does that mean the charger for it will just take longer to charge the 18ah battery or will it not have enough oomph at all? Cheers Pete

Bark at anything she will, grumble, rumble the lot but never heard her open up while running, to be honest I doubt they would make much of a cross for a lurcher, they are just too independant and hard headed

My Mrs had a pure pedigree pharaoh hound and apart from being a hard headed obstinate cow bag she is a cracking dog, prey drive by the bucket load but there is no way she can be trusted off lead, let her off and she is gone! She will come back but only when she wants to and then normally to where you started the walk, at the car or the house and it can be hours later

Sorry! I held off putting the advert on here as I was hoping they'd get the Paypal thing set up before IanB put on the advert, but when I saw that he'd done it I thought I better put the post up. willow: they'll all be signed: I'm going over to the publishers next week to do a heap of signed ones, but if you want a special 'just to you' dedication then I'll definitely be at the Midland, and a couple of shows in August hopefully: just got to see which ones are in reasonable driving distance from me: any ideas? Not complaining as its still a fair price at seventeen quid

When I got my new old dog (saluki/bull/whippet) last year I spent the whole of the first day I had her, and a great deal of time in the following days, just sat talking to her, giving her little treats, going away and comming back with food, giving her a brush down and playing a bit of fetch and what not and I didnt let her off lead for two weeks. Spend some time with the dog and earn its trust
