probably sarcopic mange like the other pups had, dont you feel ashamed of yourself. if you where struggling with the pups why didnt you just ask for advise? for the pups sake buy some decent wormer, frontline because you can use it when the skin is sore, get some benzyl benzoate and put it neat on the worse parts its not expensive but you will have to do any animals that have been in contact with it. , when the mange has cleared up get some seleen shampoo to help the skin and coat recover i suppose you can use some of the money you got from the pups for that. are they safe to use in dogs? theres certain anti-histamines you shouldnt give a dog. check the active ingrediant if its same as piriton or benadryl its safe to use and will save you a few quid. my vet gave me 50 prednisolone tablets for £2.00 so i use them now for allergic reactions works alot quicker than anti-H and reduces the swelling really quickly. atb Yep they are fine for the dog just makeing sure lol. I can get cheap prednisolone if anyones intrested! I've heard that Piriton is the only safe anti-histamine tablet (not sure about liquids) for dogs so I'd be care

i leave the dew claws on my terriers imo they do aid the dogs but on the rear they tend to be floppy and can snag up. As for the knackers i thaut my terrier had a retained one after speaking to the vet i decided if he got to 12 months and the other hadnt dropped then id have them removed, i checked him regular but nothing then bang on 12 months on his final check there they where both little knackers i was well chuffed so dont write him off yet. atn Jon

isnt it still legal to remove them yourself? odviosly not on an older pup.

yes pal iv know litters of jrt's and patterdales with rear dew claws the breeded should have removed them because they're good for nothing. atb Jon

my dogs aint no jackers and i dont claim to be better than anyone elce! and yes i can call my dogs 2 x lurchers off cats otherwise id be fkd when i go on alot of the farms i go on. i put alot of time and effort into my dogs to make sure they are 100% capable of doing what i want, when i tell them. whats wrong with that? iv spoken to B-H and explained to him that i wasnt takeing the piss sometimes i just come across the wrong way and he is fine with that! i guenuinly wanted to know who includes cats when stock breaking?? sorry for messing up the topic for you B-H and im glad your dog is on
