  1. No bigdog she has not killed one Rat yet..she has tried but let's go when they try to bite.. ..i wish she would crunch the bunnies though like my other dog's do and used to..
  2. Yes I agree millet is a lazy b***%*d and will only take the dog out for 1 hour at a time the poor pup has no chance of being one of the THL legends ... She will however be a champion show dog as he loves getting dressed in his best tweeds to prance around the ring ............. I have upped the codliver oil Sock's and i can cut my eyebrow's and comb my hair in her mirror like coat..so bring them show's ON..
  3. Did i ever say it was a massive bag.. ..you try bringing a pup up on the land i have access too and then tell me 63 rabbit's are poor for a 16mth old dog..and not forgetting brain child that 15mth's of her life have been spent on training and learning..i could quite easily go and run 100 fooking rabbit's in one night with a adult dog but i don't for the life of me see me wanting to do that with a youngster that has still not matured...are you 12yr's old by the way before i get carried away..
  4. If this is real picture and not photoshopped it is one beautiful animal and i can't stand horses normally..
  5. I have has a S410 classic carbine in .177 for the past 6/7 year's and it has not let me down yet..they are good smooth accurate gun's..i only ever fill mine to 170bar as that is where the sweet spot begin's if it's filled any higher all i will do is waste air from my bottle..i would advice on buying a new one and get it checked with a cronograph when you get it..when i first bought mine it was seriously underpowered at around 9tflb so i sent it back to Air Arm's and they sorted the problem straight away for me and got it putting around 11.5ftlb out..
  6. It look's like that pup has found a perminent good home... ..just how it should be.. ..and as for the jab's i would say the fellow you got the pup from is full of brown smelly stuff..as all the pup's i have reared over the year's get a little card with the dog's name/date of birth and what they where jabbed with afer the second jab..so you have proof yourself incase you ever have to kennel them when you go on holiday..
  7. Terrible noise too when they make contact...isn't it!!, It is a sickening thud/crack kind of sound and you just know something bad will of happened..
  8. It does not work i have accidently stuck my thumb up a dog's arse a when picking it up..and it never came into season..but then again it could of been a dog..

    Car Stunt's

I think i would of been stumbling about if i had been in there..have you ever tried standing up after being on a roundabout at full thrash for a couple of minutes..
  10. Have a look at this if it work's.. http://1funny.com/car-acrobatics/
  11. I could slip him on anything mate..and he would go at any sitter full steam ahead picking many up before they even moved..on that fateful night it was a round type of rock that was the double of a rabbit's arse end..sadly it was not but luckely he did not break his jaw..
  12. This older now deceast dog of mine knocked one side of his teeth out on a rock that i thought was a rabbit on the lamp...i took him to the vet's to get them pulled out..he said it would be more trouble than it is worth and it would be best to leave them as they are unless they started causing him problem's..he carried on catching gear up untill he died..
  13. And by the way ignore the state of the garden.. ..it usualy look's like this but i have recently had a big build being done and the shitty wet weather has not allowed me to tidy thing's up..
  14. That's a good result. .a lot better than sitting at home wondering what if..?
  15. Wait till the summer time youngen i'm sure we can get you on a few good day's out on the bunnies..
  16. That Fly is a nice stamp of a dog Aheg just a damn shame about his feet being so bad at such a young age..not to worry though let's hope you can get a pup of your own one day and train it up yourself..
  17. This will be my last trip of the season lamping with the pup..i say pup but she is around 16mth now..she has finnished her first lamping season with 63 rabbit's..not massive number's i know but enough to kick start a young dog for the next fresh season when she should be fully matured..her jumping/recall/stock breaking and strike are all more or less 100% for her age but the retrieve need's working on and that is the main reason i have pulled the plug for this season.. To start with in her early day's she had a good retrieve and occasionaly placed the odd bunnie in my hand but it has gone fro
  18. Out tonight lamping rabbit's and let's say it will be a safe bet for anyone..that i wont be taking the young lurcher rating anymore this season..lol

  19. I will second that.. ...he is a very handy little dog..he was hit and miss in the early day's but Moll put the effort and time in and now she has a whippet that rarely misses a rabbit.. what age did she strat to improve at?thanks I got it wrong http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/page/index.html/_/hunting-dogs/no-bull-r43?st=0#comment_240
  20. That look's a canny day out with the dog's and ferret.. ..but can i ask what is that little blue thing you are sticking in the ferret..
  21. I think i can remember when that happened..them old picture's will bring back some good memories for sure..
  22. Just clean it with salty water if it's got any dirt around it and leave it to heal naturaly..
  23. They all look in cracking condition.. ..on the hind dew claw comment..i have seem several rotties with them over the year's is it pretty common of the breed..
  24. Why can't you get anything further north..
