The Spanish Toro is very fast and strong,

      ...a very special breed.

Born to loose, ...live to win!

  3. My prospect: One year old and very strong.
  4. Do you think a match dog must be dog aggressive? I have seen more dog aggressive Deutsche Jagd Terrier, than dog aggressive APBT Champions. I have seen a Pit Winner with B.I.S. title, who walks without a leash on the yard of his owner when he feeds the other dogs. Gameness has nothing to do with aggressiveness. No matter if we are talking about Bulldogs or working Terriers.
  5. Why is Bulldog blood in many working Terriers? there has always been some out-crossing and to small bull terrier types but a earthdog is not a pit-dog, i received a pm telling me you have just bred a litter of puppies out of two untested puppies and you have only had terriers 18 months tops, is this true ? Yes it's true. I don't sale them. They are for me and some friends. If I loose the male in this season, I have a part of him save. The breeding where he came from is not repeatable. ...Some more questions?
  6. Are you trying to tell me that the best working terriers can be breed from cold or failed terriers? Gameness is to bring the game to the end, ...no matter what happens. But the dog must have the decision to start the game. A cold dog never starts, so you will never know if it is game or not. A cold dog could produce a very high percentage of deep game dogs, if it is from a line of deep game dogs. That is only one of many finer points where you have to take care in breeding.
  7. Why is Bulldog blood in many working Terriers?
  8. No mate ,i would dig a hole and start again . Its the same with all genes 2 litter brothers one works good he has the genes, if the other doesnt work good he doesnt carry the genes same with bitches if not passed directly they wont filter through a dog/bitch could be a jacker/cur but can reproduce the best game dogs ever..they either have a great reproducing gene or not..how many times have great digging dogs throw pure dirt in their offspring.. some of the best blood lines in the apbt world have been based on curs i.e bullyson Satin Lady has threw Alligator, and she was cold.
  9. I am wondering that the word money is often spoken with breeding. I know nobody who is able to make more money with dogs than with work. Add the time together that you have to spend for the dogs, and subtract the costs for food, kennel, vet, .... , from the money you have earned. What do you think is your clear profit per hour?
  10. I'm a rookie in earth dogs. I have 3 Patterdale prospects. One is a 100% Nuttall from the old stuff. One is from Nuttall x Pickaxe ancestors. One from Nuttall x G.Mason x Gould ancestors. This season will be my first. Before I have had APBTs since 1982.
  11. jesus why put her in pup if she fails ..............PTS I think it's not so easy to say. It could be succesful if all other is compatible. I know some examples in APBT-breeding. But generally, ...don't do it.
  12. Tight linebreeding, with an out if it needs, throw the highest percentage of that what you want.
  13. My 10 month old prospect female has found her first badger above, and hold it for 3 minutes. The pic has been shot in Germany, where badger hunting is allowed.
  14. They are the same the world over and I wouldn't say they are rubbish at all. Qualities not bad, I have had a couple and neither of them had ever let me down. In fact they are a cheap luxury motor. I have one here for sale a spotless year 2000, 4lt, 47,000 miles fmdsh, electric every ting, DVD player, Sony playstation wireless head sets, head rest screens, leather heated seats etc etc. £3000, hows that for a cheap motor. I agree here. Jeep Cherokee, not the Grand. Very good off road with a good set of tyres, nice size boot too. The early models did have a bad reputation for £££ on
  15. Here are 1 pic of my daily driver and 2 pics of my worker. The daily driver is a 98' Grand Cherokee 5.9 LX with Mopar Performance ECU. The Worker is a 91' Wrangler YJ, 4" Rubicon Express, 3" Bodylift, 33 X 12,5 R 15 MT, 120000 Win and some more specials.... I have them 2 years now, they are solid constructed and cheep in repair parts (thanks for the low Dollar). Are here some Jeep fans in this forum?
  16. I have two 10 month old Patterdale females, that have started fighting some days ago. It was ca. 2 Km from my house, in the wood. I had nearly no chance to separate them from each other. It was the longest 2 Km I've ever went . If I had one one my arm, the other jumped to her and got a hold on the head (and I'm a 120Kg 190cm guy). When I arrived at home I needed a big break to recreate me . After that they always try to kill each other. No chance that they will work together, but no problems with other dogs (till now). Working dogs are kennel dogs .
  17. I have a daughter of Jet, and a son of Tinka (Nigger daughter), but they are too young to say anything about them. ...Only that, they are fearless and strong.
  18. Ok, if you like, you can call every big kennel breeder a peddler, because nearly all of them sells dogs to normal people, too. It's a question of money. If you are not a millionaire you must think about where you can get the money for the vet, food, medicine, building material for the kennel, dog stuff like collars, lead,.... Also you need money for travel long distances to take a look at new dogs, or how your sold dogs works. You need this money to keep your kennel alive. I think there are two kinds of peddlers. First only breed for money, second only sell as much as they need to keep the k
  19. I think a breeder with a big kennel and many dogs has better requirements to breed successful, than a man who breeds only a few in his life. But it is very important for him, to have the feedback of the hunters who work with them. Without that he will never know which dog produced what kind of characteristics to the offspring, and without this knowledge he is not able to make a good breeding plan. If he give the puppies to families as pets or for show, he will never know how they work, and he has bred for nothing. Most well known APBT-breeders only breed and don't work the dogs (or only a li
  20. Definitely it can be worth! I'm new in Patterdales, but I know a lot APBT-history. A bad worker (from a proven stock) can be a good producer, and a good worker can be a bad producer. If you only breed best to best you will not be satisfied. The line and the producing ability is more important.
  21. The speedometer of a car isn't correct. You must discount 10% , or use a navigations system what shows the speed.
  22. My catchdog from the 80s. AmStaff X APBT The hardest mouth I've ever owned.
  23. I have a full sister of Kaya, she is 8 month old now. She is very active and will to please, but a little shy (only a few seconds) to something new. I will test her on a man-made fox's burrow when she is 12 month old.
  24. Ooops, the original pics are not stretched like this. Don't know why
