  1. Hi mate. Will be back in touch shortly. WW.
  2. One of the best Shows in the North Wales Area, I rather Dave's Show to Llanrwst. He has always tried to do his best from day one.
  3. Hi mate, sorry I forgot to put that in. You know how some of the People are on here. I must be really Lonely on Planet Perfect, thanks for reminding me. Regards, WW.
  4. Hi Peoples, three weeks ago I located a 12 month old Whippet xBull Dog, I was hoping to line my Bull Bitch with it but the Bitch was far too tall for the Dog, never mind. Back to the drawing board. Anyway, I have been taking him out every day, getting him used to me, his recall has not been good at all. All of a sudden he has started listening brilliantly. I was up early this morning, and as one of the places I take him was full of cattle, so I went to another place. As it was first light there seemed to be plenty of scent about, the dog put his nose down and he was away. I have never seen suc
  5. Hi there, as you appreciate this is in it's infancy, but thank you very much. Regards, WW.
  6. Hi there, thanks very for your input, I know a mate who designs websites. WW
  7. Nice one, has anyone got any ideas as to how we get this idea off the ground.
  8. Hi People, not much to do in the Summer, what do you Lurcher Owners of North Wales think about starting a North Wales Lure Racing Club? I am sure there are plenty of Venues screaming out to be used. Just a thought, you never know it might go Global. Regards, WW.
  9. Fair comment, I will take that on board. The reason I said I would buy it is because by the time you have messed about taking a Bitch to the Dog, etc, you may as well buy a Dog and have be done. Thank you again. WW.
  10. Cheers People, the reason I have chosen a Whippet is I haven had a Whippet in the past, they do not take up a lot of Kennel Space for one thing. I have not had a lot of experience with Greyhound. I also keep a lot of male dogs here, so there might be some issues here if I kept another large Greyhound type dog. I had my fair share of Dog Fights, thank you very much. I have the scares all over to prove it. Thank again. No doubt YOU KNOW WHO will have someyhing to say.
  11. Thank you Peoples for your positive and SOME VERY NEGATIVE input regarding a suitable breed to line my Irish Stafford Bitch with. I have decided to try and buy a K.C. Reg. Working Whippet. I do not want the grief of having a litter of pure bred Bulls here, as you can appreciate. So thank you again. No doubt I will get some kind of stick, but there you go. When I enlisted on this site I did not realise there were so many KNOWITALLS on this Planet. What do I know, I have only had dogs thirtyfive years. Regards, W.W.
  12. You thought wrong mate, theres plenty of w@nkers not worth a breath you spot most of them when reading through topics like such and seeing them spending day after day f*****g up decent post call themselfs fellow hunters i call them keybord hunters that not it all and do f**k all! If your happy with the bitch and she has proven you over seasons and you know you can get rid of all the pups to working homes or mate without being out to make a £ or to go for it! Bull Russel is what i would prefer using! Good luck! Hi mate, thank you for an honest an sensible reply. Not sure I want the grei
  13. I am sorry I started this thread. there is a prick born every minute. I have probably had more solid shits that this prick has had dogs. I was in Bagdad when he was in his Dad's bag. Sorry People. He needs banning off this. I thoughtnthis was the sensible site.
  14. No mate, he was bred in Essex. I had a Reid bred dog in the Eighties. i have attached a snap.
  15. Dilemma time Peoples, I have a Bull bitch coming in season shortly. Not sure what to put to her, she is tall for a bitch. Fit she is about 42lb, 21". She is pure Irish Staff, the person I bought the bitch has had the RSPCA and Plod to their Kennels and everything is AOK. Please people intelligent comments only. Thank you.
  16. No mate, he is as Pure as the Driven Snow. There are two Grand Champions in his Pedigree.
  17. Hi mate, depending if you have a decent local butcher, if you have ask him for any meat trimings, bones, etc. If not, Netto have a special offer on at the moment. They are selling a food called Worker, it is brilliant. I feed my house dogs and when I get short of food, I feed my yard dogs it. Brilliant. BEWARE, if you feed too much flesh, it is hard to get your dogs down to a decent weight quickly. I hope this helps, it is all trial and error. No one taught me.
  18. Hi Peoples, just come across an old photo of my Bull that I bought myself as a Wedding Present. What do you think?
  19. Hi there Intelligent Lurcher Owners, my pup is coming up to seven months now, just wondering what is the time scale for this pup maturing please. Thanks.
  20. No mate, its a place called Marchllyn Mawr, near Bethesda.
  21. I agree completely, I am sorry the wife bought. I have got to keep it now. I was hoping it would be all about working Borders.
  22. Still got this book burried away somwhere... all i'll say is.. it has got more contradictions in it than anything else i've ever read, heard or watched! still fresh in my after umpteen years!! Read worse books.... pinch of salt and all that if you know what i mean!! I think it is the seond best book written by the Nutter Plummer. The best the "The Fell Terrier", obviously this is my own opinion.
  23. Here is a photo of a Griffon x Harrier from a good few years ago. N.N.'s breeding, just wondering if anyone is still using them.
