  1. I went to Lowther Show a good few years ago no, it pissed down with rain, so I thought I would go for a ride round. just by chance we came across a Trail Hound Meet. It was the best part of the weekend. You were asking what are they like with live quarry, well we had one as a draft hound in the early seventies with the Snowdon Valley Foxhounds. It was a stunting looking beast, but not that good with foxes. When I get my scanner up and running I will put some snaps up.
  2. Hi there, please could you give me some information regarding this bitch. Also would it be possible to have a recent photo. Thanks, this is a genuine inquiry.
  3. The dog does / did work. A mate of mine dug to it a year or two ago in Wales. It came off strong quarry that day. A good friend of mine knows him well, I have asked about this dog in the past, his comment was do not bother. If you are after a Working Border Stud Dog, try Johnny Bluck's Working Border Terrier Stud Register. T I'm not saying the dog DOESN'T work. I've judged him a couple of times and he has signs of graft.......
  4. Hi there, here is a snap of my Bullx.
  5. Hi People, have you had this week's arse wipe? There is only a litter of Pekinese for sale. I hope they are from working bloodlines.
  6. Just when you think that the CMW can not stoop any lower, there is a litter of Pekinese for sale this week. What ever next?
  7. :clapper: 100% mate, I would not be without one.
  8. Never a truer work spoken, I went on most of the Marches, even my wife came along, but there are hunting lads in the Conwy Valley who never bothered but still complained. Even my kids wanted to go, but not those tossers.
  9. if you live up country [mainly walls and fence i wouldput a good greyhound on her ]if its mainly hedges id go for whippet greyhound As the old saying goes, "When in doubt, use a Greyhound".
  10. Hi there, I have a good friend who knows a lot about the lurcher game. He also knows a lot about all the irish bred terriers. His opinion is if you shave a Wheaton down to the boards, it is a Pit Bull. We had one here that was out of a dog called "Wicker". He had just been sent over from Ireland at six weeks old. Within a couple of days that dog was strutting around my kennels as if he had been here all his life, he had so much confidence it was unbelievable. He went on to be a good little dog and also sired some very good lurcher pups. I have also had the pleasure of seeing a 231/2" WheatonxG
  11. hi pal,,,,,my friend bought a pup from buith wales game fair..spit of your second terrier.just wondering if its any connection,, Hi mate, sorry. Apparently this line is like rocking horse s--t. This line has been going for the past thirty years. I have been very lucky to own this dog. He saw his first dead fox yesterday, and he tried to eat it. I know this does not mean a lot, but it is a great step in the right direction.
  12. That keeper bred one is the spit of my black 'un. Is she a bit long legged? Yes, he's about 15".
  13. Here are three of mine. The pair are S. Deacon bred and the other is keeper bred.
  14. HI there, keep trying to up load snaps, these are 8 months old, sister dragged a fox out of cover.
  15. I have a good friend in the greyhound world who swears by TCP for kennel cough. Don't laugh it works.
  16. A better way of giving dogs eggs is to scramble them.
  17. I hear what your saying but just because dogs are advertised for a certain price on epupz it doesn't mean they are worth it or they actually get sold. Fair comment. Thanks.
  18. After waiting a couple of days for a reply back about selling one of my 8 month old Jrt pups, I got a reply back this morning, the guy offered me a poultry £100 and part deliver it to Hull. When you see the s--t on Epupz it is a joke. People will pay large amounts of money for rubbish these days, and there is no chance in the world that it will work.
  19. Hi there, yes they are. I am overstocked, that is the only reason I am selling them. the waste of space who was after one of them got back in touch and only offered me £100, and part deliver it to Hull. £100 is nothing these days, I am only asking £150 each. You get nothing on Epupz for that. I have seen utter rubbish on there for £500. At least these are from working parents, the litter sister has already pulled a fox out of cover. Say no more.
  20. Here is a snap of my four and a half month old Irish StaffxStaff pup that I kept back out of the last litter. I kept the runt back to work myself as she has the type of temperament for hunting, she will be small enough to go to ground.
