  1. Cheers, I have kept two pups back out of her last litter, which was to a "Pshyco" lines bred dog. One has turned out like the mother, the other which was the runt has turned out very racy. If things turn out right I will put a working whippet to her in the future.
  2. Do you think it is worth getting in touch with Clive Rees, the Hunting Solicitor? The number is 07969378750, hope this helps. ATB. Dave.
  3. Cut & Heal, it comes in a Purple and Yellow Bottle.
  4. Hi mate, I paid £110 for my Dog Guard, but it is for a 110 CSW. I don't know if there is a great difference in price. Have a look in Land Rover Monthly or have a look on Ebay. I know what you mean a people flashing you, etc. I get it all the time. SPOTTERS. I had one come up to me in ASDA car park and said "Do you go off road?, I said "No, I get stuck a lot though". He wanted me to join his Gang, I said no, I'd rather get stuck by myself.
  5. IMO the Land Rover is a better option, parts are a lot cheaper than a lot of 4x4's. I have had Suzukis, a Chevrolet CrewCab,a Range Rover,. and the Land Rover is by far the cheapest on parts. At the moment I have a 1996 110 Defender CSW. OK, things do go wrong, but they go wrong eventually with everything. I can get everything and everyone in this vehicle. I get about 32 mpg. I admit I am not the fastest of drivers, but I get there eventually, and you have the added prestige of having a British car. It sails through the MOT, it is built like a tank, not like the Jap stuff. But there again, it

  9. After you asking for more pix of "Blaze" I took her out today to take some more. From the pix she seems to look a little fat at the moment. She is nearly 30lb, do you think she is carrying too much weight for her age?
  10. Cheers mate, I will take your honest cmments on board.
  11. The problem with Whippets is that they tear like paper, I have a WhippetxG/hound and she tears like paper. Depending on the ground that you work, I would go for a Bedlington Whippet or a Collie Whippet. Both have what it takes in every way. This is my honest opinion. I have owned a Laguna Whippet and did not rate it compared to a Lurcher that I had at the time.
  12. Hi there, thanks for that. This is the first litter of lurchers that I have bred, I have only had lurchers for about ten years. I do not want to make any mistakes. I have attached a snap of her sister, "Blaze". She is 191/2" and 28lb. Hope you like her.
  13. Hi All. Just come back from taking "Keeper" out from her first walk, she is now 5 months old, 19" and 26lb. you might think that this is a bit late to start taking her out, but things have been a bit hectic around here for a couple of weeks. Well I put her in the back of the vehicle and she had a bit of a wobble, no panic. i put the collar and retracable lead on her and another wobble. I coaxed her a little and we were away, no problems until the biggest tractor you have ever seen came down the track, another wobble. Tractor came and went so I let her off the lead, no problems. She started get
