A facial injury needs micro surgery. One in a child's skin is more susceptible to scarring. As such, a very small wound needs a lot of small stitches in a very small ŵound. The description in the press sounds terrible, and if it was a kid you knew, you'd be mortified. However collies tend to snap bite and back off. It's a warning. We have collies and bull bred dogs here. It's the collies that get locked away when folk turn up. But non of the dogs are allowed unsupervised around kids. And all visitors get a drill dog etiquette, for want of a better term
