    Roybo i remember that now you say it...my male took the full spectrum of game by 18 months old single handed...he was a good fast dog handy at everything...I later on owned a bitch she was good just a bit simple when it came to her work lol

    Hi Alcapone...Golly went over the bitch about the same time as he went over the Greyhound that produced Marley and my male Toc...A month or so apart they were, the greyhound pups being older..the female sparticus has is as hard as the top male dogs ive seen work, a bitch of her caliber one day id love to own! Sadly Jake isnt alive as id of liked to see him go over her in a heart beat!

    I'm sure as most will say any that under take the task till the job is over...ive seen a few different "lines" go...but the thing i think is more crucial is the terrier men behind the dogs. The lads sorting the wheat from the chaff and being able to work with the type of dogs they keep...i know for a fact there is a certian line of terrier that seems to be the craze at the moment that works to a very high standard under the right terrier man but i know for a fact if this type was with a man who was harsher on his dogs they wouldn't do any where near as good as they do for the man who understan

    Want to try this gear my self....i'm sure most of us are carrying some form of nematode. Edited to add: When handling wild game that carry worms don't you think eggs are easily carried over to our selves???

    The reason why i said that because i see possums as a waste of time, when you break through they are sulled up and doing nothing apart from playing dead....how's that a test for a fine breed working terrier? i'm not happy to hunt them, but then again its better than a drawing a blank or a skunk.

    Nice to be out and that cold weather makes them terrier loose condition very quick I find...bet you were pissed when you found it to be a possum!

    Busterdog, got over the jet lag mate? We had a blizzard yesterday snow drifts every where snowed in we are.
