  4. Ok then lads just been thinking about bushing with the terriers, springers, hounds or any any other type of dog that likes to work cover along side with the lurchers. What decent dogs have you had that work any cover inpursute of it quarry. ???

  6. LOL kye funny you say that i just come back from a mates bbq and we were talking bout all the kid programs we use to watch as a kids. I rember he-man was qualty, top cat, wacky racers, teenage ninja mutant hero turtles. loads more but what bout a great classic "around the twist and saved by the bell".
  7. i like them wheatons and it is a breed id like to learn more about and see work, as for a few other strong breeds. Good luck with them pups
  8. if i was to pass a dog on as a pet id have it spay but i do agree with the lads that cull and only keep the best. I think id prefer to pts a dog than pass it on as you dont know how the dog will be treated the rest of its life. each to their own

  12. EWOK it's not that i want to remove the velvet i just wanted to know that it didnt effect the mounting of the head. cheers any way il get a mate to boil it up and show me how to mount it
  13. can you remove the velvet off the antlers thow when you do it at home ? ?
  14. ok lads need some advice here i have a head off a nice roe buck and he still has velvet on his antlers, how would i go about mounting this head can you remove the velvet or would i need to take the head to a taxidermis and get it stuffed ? what would you fellas do ? Chrees

    i havent dun much big game hunting at all a bit though, but i still love a bit of ratting or rat shooting and ferreting and running them with dogs. but i'd prefer to go out for a nights rat shooting instead of a nights fox lamping with the gun dogs make me tick alot more
  16. keeps do any of your plummbers go to ground ? do you know any one who digs to them ? i haven't ever heard of um being dug to ? ? would you recommend them as a good bushing dog?

Kye was a great to meet you buddy, was a quality night out we had dispite we killed mums and young i hate that summer time hunting i defo gotta agree with you bout the laughs we had was a funny night will be nice to hear from you when your season gets cracking mate, you know how jelous you made me when you told me about all the game you fellas have to hunt over there shame you only have half decent dogs best of luck with the dogs you brought back, hope they win a few shows you yanke messer
  18. i have meet some of the soundest fella off this site, who have helped me out a great deal bending over backwards to help me out sorting me out with dogs decent breed dogs of that, driving to get them, inviting me out, teaching me about working dogs and f*****g alot more. Dont know how i could repay them back for the amount they have helped me but there are definatly sound fellas on this site
  19. eggy the cut was glued but he just licked it and it opened back up so was just left to heal naturaly, Mr Reynolds he good on the lead the terrier takes you for a walk he just plods along lol, he will be 12 months at the end of this month
