    Bad times buddy,sorry to hear that mate. All I can suggest is empty your hutches out completly scrub them out thouroughly with vicon or somthing simlar give em a nice new warm bed and hopfully all will be well fella ATB

    The lad said it was his first time in weather like this so there is a fair chance he's not the head terrier man on his local hunt aint it.He asked for comments and I would surggest advice on the subject so if you aint got anything constructive to say save your key tapping for one of the play school threads on here.It wont take you long to find one.     Just a hint mate.If you fill the cavity with salt(Be sure to pack it tightly) and leave it for 2-3 weeks then simply tap the salt out you get a better result plus you dont get the discolouration you get with meths and it won't stink of meths for the next two years. Also if you cut the base of charlies tale as you say you don't need to split any sticks simply grab hold tight with both hands put your foot into the flanks of charlie and pull as hard as you can,A little twist to get it started and "pop" of it comes.     To be fair mate I would suggest your best bet is e-bay fella.you can get em new with a collar for about £150 and with two collars for £188 I think.But if I hear of a second hand one mate I'll let you know bud. ATB

    i replaced my cigarette liter attachment with spade clips which u get from most electrical shops, then the lamp simple goes straight to the battery Got to be the only way forward mate.the less you have the less to go wrong. atb

    I've used a mk1 for most season weekends for the past 15 or more years and never had a problem with interferance and just because you prefer the mk3 dosn't mean your right fella. Calm down ATB

    I have and use both mate and I do love and actualy prefer my mk1 knocker box as its easy,honest and you can use it with any collar regardless of which mark or depth but the mk3 is a great peice of kit. If you are purchasing one now you have to bear in mind that the mk1 is now very old and you can no longer have them calibrated by Deben and more and more of them are slipping out of calibration so unless you can find one cheap the mk3 has to be the sensible answer.
