  1. i have the ultrafire 300 lumen zoomable focus 3.95 from china.i work in electrical/electronics manufacturing.and we have been using the cree leds in one of our products.and well impressed me.took 5 weeks for the torch to arrive. when i got it very good for such a small torch.takes 1 AA battery.left it on in the house for 45mins still going.took it out for a mooch round good tight beam for small fields and paddocks
  2. I can remember you from edrd site.glad this dog has turned out well for you.was the dam all white?
  3. i can understand the lads who say no.as money does ruin everthing. But on the other hand i would pay a farmer for lamping permission.the question is how much?and when the next season comes along and someones offered more? on the otherhand i would offer free labour on a specific job related to my trade. And on a last note i know lads who pay for there specific perm.and the farmer does well out of it.but so do the lads with thousands of acres to go at
  4. Yes i know what your saying yampy.you can buy better high output xenon style bulbs.but still cheaper than cluson. the lad wanted the lamp back for friday night.so thats what i got him as was local.i know were hes goin and what hes doin so will be fine. the 50watt halogen bulbs are vertical element i got him. If anyone does a search on the web.as you can get them on e-bay or stores like maplins. this is what you are looking for- G6.35 12v 50watt halogen G4 12v 20watt.halogen dont get fooled by shops and suppliers telling you "you need this" specific one.ive worked in the electrical/elect
  5. Young lad bought me his lamp friday at work.can ya fix it bud.leave it with me son. come back at dinnertime-bulbs gone.had alook on cluson site-yeah right not on your life. called in at a little electrical shop i know.2 x 50 watt. 2 x 20 watt. 4 quid job done.
  6. nowt wrong with that pup.do you know the dam/sire?
  7. very nice looking pup there.atb with it
  8. Yes..seemed better than some.as in the dog would eat it.supposed to be natural.i dunno.tried that csj that will do.supposed to be all natural same again.i would say on the harringtons the dog seemed to have more bounce in him.or maybe i just wanted to see it if you catch my drift. Only used as a mixer with both.but just stick with wholemeal bread or rice/oats now with veg and meat or fish.at least you DO know what there getting and the percentage of what there getting. cant get much more natural than that imo
  9. I have a mate at work who works a lab bitch.everytime the dog hits water she gets ear infections. now i asked him if it was a particular pond, lake or stream thinking it might be the cause with something in the water but he said no.its all water? would any of the above remedies help? or is there a preventitive solution to this.i.e something he can apply first before going out? anybody else had or have this?
  10. No.but if the guy wants to put a vid on here with the dog killing a cougar then let him. i dont mind eating humble pie
  11. Dont believe a dog will do cougar.not in full health. if the dogs tree,d it and shot-wounded fell to ground yes.but not in full health on its back being throated by a dog, more than a oppurtunity for it to kill with the claws to a dogs soft area .dogs only got one line of attack or defence.cougar two. do you do much with the mongol bow?.
  12. Funny how permission can turn poacher to gamekeeper sometimes..... likes been said already 99% of lads would and will still do it on surrounding property when they think nobodys watching goes with the territory.and that dont just go with lurchers.shooters aswell. if was me i would have a word in there ear and way them up. what we talking about here young lads or older.one or a few
  13. I cant see the logic in what your doing son.good that you took the pup back.but like you say you put the time and effort into your pup now to get rid? why dont you see if you can re-home the timid bitch.for free if needs must.she might turn good.to a more shall we say experienced owner. Either way i think you will or could end up with second best.and will always be thinking in the back of your mind you should have kept your own. a non working decent pet home would be a better bet for you and the dog if it has to be. not nocking you just saying like i see it. atb with the dogs either way

  17. i would invest in some security around the house for piece of mind of girl and parents.does not have to cost the earth.make sure its reported to the police.in some areas the police have got free alarms to give away if moneys really tight. have alook at this GUARDCAM glad the girl and dog are both safe
