  1. Nice one fella we all know how hard to is to get permission and even harder to keep! My friend I go shooting with has at his feet roughly 4,000 acres and doesn't do much with it at all it's shocking he keeps saying to me I can shoot there and there and there but he never bothers same old fields all the time? I cannot understand why anyone with that amount of land stays to the same old fields when he has all that at his disposal it's shocking I don't want to take anybody's permission away from them but the farmers we talk to keep telling him I've a problem with his and that etc and he's just no
  2. just replace them? any hardware merchants will have allen head bolts and cheap? regards Nick
  3. Cheers java I noticed that roll pin it looks easy enough to get out, I'm not looking forward to putting in back in under that pressure from a new spring though lol
  4. Cheers for that I searched tinterweb for ages and couldn't find anything like that. The spring has seen better days so I would imagine that there isn't too much pressure behind it, I hope lol Regards Nick
  5. hi i have the said air rifle and would like to tidy the rifle up (stock and barrel) and i would also like to put a new spring in it and give it a general overhaul, so i can hand it over to my 11yr old son, can you tell me if its an easy job that can be done by myself in my workshop. im a pretty hands on guy and can turn my hand to most things and fell that i could competently do you job just looking for advice for removal of the spring or even a link to a diagram would be greatly appreciated. regards Nick
  6. i was going to ask the same question fella i have an old springer i want to tidy up, if i was you i would test a patch first, maybe under the barrel so if it goes wrong its not in an area thats visible. can you let me know if the bisley one is any good after youve done it regards Nick
  7. That's a cracking idea, I think I would prefer the flatter trajectory from the .177 though, but that's just my opinion
  8. I'm thinking .177 I've always had .22 because the saying used to be .177 for feather and .22 for fur but as rifles have developed I would very much doubt that that is the case nowadays be interesting to hear your thoughts on which calibre you use and for what? Nick
  9. after looking at the aa pro sport i think i have a clear winner im very impressed with the look and reviews it has, however i still want to have a feel for all three im considering, as the pro sport might not even suit me!! and one of the others may just feel right! and to be totally honest i dont think i would be dissapointed with owning any of them. thanks for all the replies i will let you know which one i have picked very soon (hopefully lol) Nick

  11. Thanks for all the replies lads but fancy throwing a third air gun in to the equation lol it's hard to choose like I have said I've held the hw97k but not the kt and haven't held the tx at all so I need to get to my local gunshop and have a play with both or three? I would imagine that Tony's camo is the only option as they would most likely hold stock of the guns or if any local ( north wales ) lads know of anywhere else I would appreciate the info Nick
  12. which one should i pick, it will be my first decent air rifle and it will be brand new, done loads of research on the wiehrauch but not the air arms as im swaying more to the hw, can any of you please give the pros and cons on each of these rifles as they seem similar, or will it come down to personal preference. i have shot the hw my friend has one but its on an fac i found it heavy to lug about but nicely balanced when shooting with it and very accurate? thanks in advance for replies Nick

  23. She doesn't want them out of her sight that's why she is dragging them back into the box. Don't separate them it's motherly instinct that's all if she was going to harm them she would have by now and 6weeks is very early to be rehoming them I would wait till at least 8 weeks minimum bud Regards JW
